John sat above Sherlock and slapped him. "I told you, Danielle has been missing for three days, and you do nothing! WHERE IS SHE?!"
Life with Sherlock
"Yeah, if you want you can borrow one of my stiletto heels. Sherlock now knows the level of damage I can inflict with a ten inch heeled shoe."
Sherlock passed his hand over his eyes and sighed. "I also know that Danielle is capable of taking care of herself. John, I assure you, she's fine."
"The offer of my stilettos is still up." Karen said, shrugging.
John looked at both of them, desperation in his eyes. "Please …" he said softly, and Sherlock's expression softened. "Where did you last see her?"
"I haven't even met her. Ask the High Functioning Sociopath over here."
Sherlock glared in Karen's direction and turned to John. "You both went on a date four nights ago, and you dropped her off at her flat. Did she ever get in her door?"
(Should I act out John now or???)
Sure. You can be anyone. Or anything.
(Kk) "No, now that you think about it." John replied.
Sherlock's eyes lit up. "John! She's been kidnapped, and I know by whom!" He jumped up and tore off his robe, reaching for his coat and scarf.
Karen had taken Sherlock's scarf and was currently wearing it. "I'm not giving it back, you know." she said.
Sherlock huffed and held out his hand. "If I didn't know any better, Karen, I'd say you have sentiment for me."
"Of course I do, you idiot. You're my best, and only, friend!" she said, playfully ruffling his hair. "That and this scarf is really nice."
"Give it back."
"Nope!" she said, skipping out the door.
Sherlock let out the most annoyed grunt John had ever heard. "I don't have … Friends."
"Yes you dooooo!" Karen called before waving down a cab for herself, John, and Sherlock.
Sherlock was visibly irritated as he slid in beside John, and John turned to Karen. "You should probably give him his scarf back," he whispered.
"Never." she grinned.
"Listen, he's really such a child. I fyou don't give his scarf back, he'll pout all day."
"He's adorable when he's pouty. And I really am never giving this back. It's a fashion statement."
"I can hear you both," Sherlock grumbled. "And I am not adorable, nor pouty, nor a child."
"Don't kid yourself, Sherlock." Karen said. "You're all of those."
"I am not!"
"Yes you are. Now shut up and, I dunno, go to your mind palace?"
"I do not go to my mind palace just because I want to," Sherlock began, but John was getting edgy. "Enough with the bloody scarf, what about Danielle?"
"What about her?"
"What about her?"
"She's missing!" John shouted.
