Life with Sherlock

There was no reply, and it was impossible to see him.

"You crazy…." she muttered, trying to find her detective.

She felt someone grab her hand, and Sherlock was pulling her through the crowd, a scowl on his face. "Walk faster, Karen. I can't drag you everywhere."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously what."

"Are you kidding me? You gave me a heart attack, wandering off like that! You should feel ashamed!" she said, her inner mom spiking.

"I didn't wander off, you weren't going fast enough. Anyway, I came back."

"You crazy little…."

"Little what?" Sherlock asked, his hand gripping hers more tightly as they squeezed their way through the crowd.

"Idiot." she finally said. "A bloody idiot."

"Yes, you are, aren't you?" Sherlock retorted.

"That would be you. Idiot."

Sherlock turned to her, eyes sparkling. "No matter, Karen. The game is on!"

"I hate you."

"The sentiment is mutual," Sherlock replied, before turning down an alley.
