Aster allowed Jasper to pat his head, “I’m not your pet!” Aster giggled and playfully stuck out his tongue.

Jasper laughed and sat back down.

Aster laughed and fell backwards, intending to be like the movies where the fall back to look at the sky, but instead hitting a metal pole holding the playground up, “Ow!” Aster jumped forward again and held the top of his head, “Well ya didn’t have to be so rude,” he grumbled.

(Realities VS Expectations)

Jasper couldn’t help but laugh, “Didn’t you know the pole was there?”

“No, I forgot we were on a playground,” Aster pouted.

“Well are you okay?” Jasper asked.

“Probably,” Aster felt his head, only feeling a small bump, “ok, I think I’m good,” Aster decided, “I didn’t die instantly, so I’m probably fine.”

(Sorry I had to leave for dinner. ;~;)

“That’s usually my reaction.” Jasper nodded, “Tell me if it starts hurting again, k?”

(No problem! Ya gotta eat!)

“M’kay!” Aster smiled and gave Jasper a big thumbs up, “So, what do you wanna do now?” He leaned forward, resting his arms on his crossed legs.

“Uh… I… have no idea.” Jasper admitted, playing with the blades of grass.

“Well, I have about….” Aster paused, “four or five hours left….. or something…….” Aster decided, choosing the first amount of time that popped into his head. He grabbed a few flowers and started making flower crowns.

“What are you doing?” Jasper asked, curiously tilting his head and watching closely.

“Hm? Oh, nothing really, I’m just making some flower crowns,” Aster smiled, not turning from the delacite work.

“You know how to do that?” Jasper gasped.

“Yeah, why?” Aster asked, picking a few more flowers and adding them to the chain he had so far.

“That’s so cool.” Jasper grinned, scooting over to Aster.

“Do you want me to teach you?” Aster smiled.

“Yes, please!” Jasper’s smile widened.

(Well now I need to look up how to make them XD)

“Ok, first find some flowers that have thin and flexible stems,” Aster held up one of his flowers, “like this, and I find it easiest to work with stems at least this long or longer.” Aster held out his fingers a few inches apart.

“Ok, then you gotta take off the leaves.” Aster demonstrated, “And it’ll probably be easier if you make them the same length, I’ve heard you’re supposed to, but I never do.”

“You rebel.” Jasper laughed.

“I know, I’m so rebellious!” Aster said dramatically and put a hand on his forehead. He laughed, “Well, anyway, then you tie three flowers together with whatever you can find, I used a stem, but you should probably use a thread of some sort….. here!” Aster grabbed a loose string from his shirt and bit it off. He handed the string to Jasper, “This should be good.”
