Marine Rescue (Closed)

Tara looked up at Darren. "Well, is there anyway I can repay you?" She asked.

Darren smiled a little, "Yeah, let me take you out for dinner sometime… I'll pay,"

Wait….is he asking me on a……….date? Eh…..why not….. Tara paused and bit her lip for a moment, thinking. "Uh, sure. Have any specific time in mind?" She asked, leaning against her car.

"Whenever you're free and hungry… I know you might be busy, you have your hands full but you have my number so call me whenever and I'll pick you up,"

Tara nodded. "Okay, what about tomorrow night, seven o'clock. I'm free then, if that's not too soon."

"No, not at all! I'll see you then,"

Tara nodded. "Goodnight then Darren." She said, slightly blushing as she opened her car door.

"Night Tara," He smiled and walked toward the house, cheering to himself all the way there.

Tara smiled all the way back to her and Abby's apartment, putting Sara in her bed then going to find Abby. "Abs? I need to talk to you about something."

Abby came out of her room. "Hey, what's up?"

(Well looks like I'll be here a little longer……..this is too addicting lol)

"Soooo….I might have been asked out on a date….." Tara said as she sat down on the couch.

"Oh, tell!" Abby slid in beside her.

"Well…..the new guy at work? Darren? He watched Sara tonight and helped me out a bit…..he asked me out."

Abby's jaw dropped. "No."

"Yeah…umm….Help? Please?"

"So wait, did he give any details? How did he do it?" Abby grabbed Tara's hands excitedly.

"Uhhmm…..Well, he said he'd pick me up tomorrow at seven….but he didn't give any specifics…Abby help me please!"

"Okay okay, uh… He didn't give a location, so maybe wear something fancy casual?"

"Uhh……….sure. But you'll have to help me. I'm not good at dressing up."

"I think that I have just the thing for you," Abby said with a snap.

"Okay…" Tara said.

Abby went to her room and came back with an outfit. "Too much?"

Tara looked at it for a few minutes. "I guess I can try it out."

"Here," Abby pressed the clothes gently into Tara's hands.

Tara took the outfit and slipped into the bathroom to try it out. She came out and showed Abby. "Does it look nice?"

"Oh, yes! You look beautiful!" Abby squealed.

Tara smiled. "Thanks."
