"it's not really that far but it's a cabin and there's the ocean and from a distance you can see the mountains the whole place is surrounded in UV protection" she said
He smiled. ”That sounds beautiful.”
She smiled " so can we go?" She asked
”Of course. Do you need to go home and pack before we leave?” he asked with a smile.
She nodded with a small smile
”Alright.” he smiled. ”As soon as it's ok for us to leave, we’ll go home and pack.” he promised.
She nodded wrapping her arms around his neck
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her, spinning them both around.
Betty giggled at his action
Lysander smiled at her laugh and set her down.
”I’m sorry to interrupt but I believe it's time for our dance.” Charles smiled as he approached.
betty smiled giving lysander a quick kiss before walking over to her father
Lysander smiled at the kiss and watched as she joined her father.
Charles smiled and kissed her forehead before starting to dance with her. ”Couldn’t wait to get out of your dress?” he chuckled.
"it was horrible" she said
He shook his head with a soft smile. ”That may be but you looked beautiful in it.” he said before looking at her current outfit. ”What you're wearing now is very nice as well.”
She chuckled, I literally have my husband's shirt on and a pair of jeans" she said
Charles chuckled softly. ”Yes but you added your own touch to it.”
"what? The blond hair on it?" She asked
Charles smiled and shook his head. ”I meant putting his last name on the back.”
"oh"she said with a giggle of embarrassment "I'm very crafty"
”I can tell.” her father chuckled.
She smiled as the song ended
As the song ended, Charles gave his daughter one last hug and kissed the top of her head.
She smiled spinning around
Charles smiled gently. ”Alright. You don't have to stay much longer now.” he told her. ”Maybe a couple of dances with your husband and a couple of friends then you can go.”

”Not a good idea.” he warned.
"and why is that" she asked. With a chuckle
”Because you’d most likely give half of the guests here a heart attack in worry.” he explained. ”And second, you just told me it would be fake.”
