" no not really" she said
”Alright, my angel.” he smiled.
She smiled gently
He paused his packing to lean over and kiss her.
She kissed him back
He smiled as he slowly pulled away to finish packing. He was almost done.
She waited for him to be done
He smiled at her as he finally finished packing and closed his suitcase. ”Ready to go, darling?” he asked. All he had to do was grab the coffee from the kitchen… and maybe the Absinthe Henry gave them as a wedding present.
She nodded grabbing her bag and the ring box off the cot
He smiled gently at her as she took the ring. ”Alright. I’ll meet you downstairs then.” he said, kissing her cheek before taking his own bag.
She nodded
He headed downstairs and set his bag by the front door before going into the kitchen.
She made her way downstairs
He grabbed both drinks and put them in a cold container before walking back to the door.
She sat on the couch tying her boots
He blinked in surprise as he realized he was still in the clothes he slept in. ”I’ll be right back.” he apologized before setting down the container and running upstairs.
She looked at him she still had her clothes from last night on she just put some boots on
He quickly changed into a pair of pants and a long-sleeved shirt before grabbing his shoes and coming back down.
Betty was laying on the couch her eyes closed
He smiled softly and walked over to the couch, leaned over and kissed her.
Betty smiled kissing him back
He chuckled and pulled back. ”Sorry about the delay.”
She smiled kissing him again quickly
He smiled as he returned the kiss.
She pulled away
”Ready to go?” he asked as he straightened out and slid on his shoes.
She nodded sitting up
He smiled and picked her up. ”You’re going to have to lead since you know where it is.”
She nodded
He smiled and carried her over to the front door.
