She took the bottle and gently placed the nipple in Laura-beths mouth
Laura-Beth immediately started to drink, placing a small hand on the side of the bottle.
Betty smiled down at her daughter stroking her blonde hair.
Lysander smiled and looked at the both of them. He was unbelievably happy.
she giggled
”What’s funny?” he asked softly.
¨¨I have a family¨ she said.
”Yes, you do.” he smiled, kissing her cheek.
she smiled kissing her daughters cheek.
Laura-Beth had finished half of the bottle and stopped to yawn.

Laura-Beth slowly fell back asleep as her mother hummed.
" look at my talented gifts"she whispered
Lysander smiled and gave a very soft laugh. ”Yes, you're very talented.”
"she gently placed Laura Beth back in her crib
Laura-Beth cooed sleepily as she was tucked into bed.
Lysander smiled and gently placed a hand on their daughter's forehead.
Betty pulled her daughter's tiny baby blanket up over her
”Sweet dreams, precious.” Lysander smiled at their daughter.
"let's go back to bed" Betty mumbled
Lysander nodded and picked her up, carrying her to the bed.
The next morning Betty was on the couch laying down and Laura Beth was on her stomach
At some point, Lysander had actually fallen asleep so when he woke up in the morning and didn't see either of them he was a little surprised.
Betty pet Laura Beth's hair as she read a book
He could hear Laura-Beth’s heartbeat and followed it calmly downstairs, smiling when he saw the pair.
Betty was softly humming without realizing it while she read her book she glanced at her daughter with a smile her eyes leaving her book
Lysander was smiling. He didn't know what he did to deserve this as he stared at the two best things to happen to him in his long life.
