Betty pulled the covers up
Henry was also in the kid's room, picking up Asher before leaving.
Lysander nodded at his brother as he put his already sleeping little girl in her bed.
Betty turned on the bed not asleep yet
After making sure Laura-Beth was comfortable in her bed and once Henry left with Asher, Lysander went back to his wife and laid down beside her.
She curled up in his chest
He smiled and wrapped an arm around her, holding her close as he warmed up a little. ”Good night, my queen.” he whispered, kissing her forehead.
¨Why do you keep calling me your queen?¨ she asked
”Because I love you.” he told her. ”Because you are the queen of my heart and deserve to be treated as one.”
She turned in his arms to face him
He smiled lovingly at her.

”What’s so funny?” he asked, smiling as he raised a brow.

He shook his head, a little embarrassed by the high compliment. ”You’re the perfect one.” he said softly.
She shook her head with a smile
”You are.” he insisted gently as he kissed her forehead.
¨Go To Bed my king¨ she said
He chuckled. ”Careful, love. I’m no king but there is one.” he warned her gently.

He smiled at her and kissed her. ”If you say so, my queen. Now get some rest.”
She nodded resting her head on him
He closed his eyes and held her close, gently stroking her hair to help her fall asleep.
