(it's fine, we just started lol)
Lucinda followed him. "I watched the sun rise and set, and just kind of relaxed on a rock."
Merfolk (OPEN I GUESS IDK)
"Mmm… where's Moxiey?" He arranged some of the random things he collected around the ocean; things that humans had dropped. He was rather fascinated by humans.
Moxiey crouched under a rock, her face barely above the surface of the water. She peeked over the top and saw a huge ship full of humans. She saw closer and saw a rowdy group of men shouting around at each other. She sighed admiringly.

"I don't know," Lucinda said, shrugging. She leaned back in the water, letting a few fish circle her body. "Weren't you with her when I left?"
Maddox nodded. "Then she left. Said she had to do something, but didn't say what. You haven't seen her?"
"No, I've been miles away from here all day." Lucinda frowned. "I hope she hasn't gone to watch humans again."
"It wouldn't surprise me if she did." Maddox picked up a large seashell and put a hole in it, stringing a length of seaweed through the hole.
Lucinda swam back to the entrance of the cave, looking out worriedly. "Maybe we should go looking for her… What if she gets caught?"
"I would know." Maddox said quietly. "But if it worries you, we can search for her."
Maria swam into the cave, tail flicking up out of the water for a moment before their head popped up. “Who are we worrying about?” They asked, voice echoing a musical lilt.
//probably made no sense but I’m tired and can’t english
"Hello, Mare. Moxiey has gone missing again. I'm not incredibly worried, but Lucinda seems to be."
“She wanders out a lot, I’m sure she’s fine,” Mare said, turning to Lucinda.
Lucinda shrugged. "I just want her to be safe."
“Well, you’re more than welcome to go look for her,” they shrugged, slipping deeper into the water.
"Well I don't want to go out at night by myself," she said crossing her arms.
"I'll go. It's not like I have anything to do." Maddox laid down the necklace he made.
"Awesome!" Lucinda beamed and turned back toward the entrance. "Which current would she have taken?"
Moxiey ducked back under the water and looked around. No one. Good. She swam closer to the ship and, unseen, wiggled into a crevice where she could easily see what was happening on the deck.
"West, most likely. The men on the boat travel that one most often." Maddox swam towards the exit.
Lucinda nodded, then let her body get carried away by the current.
Maddox followed, drifting along calmly and quietly. His head swiveled a bit as he was swept away, searching for Moxiey.
(should we wait for camiestrange or keep going until they get back?)
(Well, we can't really do anything without Moxiey, so I guess wait?)
