(Hey I’m back! I’ve pretty much been bursting to see how you are and tell you that I have an idea for this rp)

(Heyo! So good to see you man, how have things been lately? Also I very much want to hear this idea lol I am tres intrigued :)

(Yeah I haven’t been to bad, yourself? Also the idea I had. What if Maria ends up coming back and kidnapping Arria only this time Carter can’t save him? Maria ends up using Arria as a money grab and touring the world with him, making him kinda like a zoo attraction or something along those lines. People flock to see a real life merman and Arria has to do hat Maria says other wise she’ll do something to Carter or him. Carter ends up joining a group who’s goal is to save mistreated animals and also stop human tracking and such (or something along those lines, it can be anything, really) and they spend like three years or something trying to get Arria back home. This way we get new characters, character development and angst all in one)

(Ehhh so-so, family issues and all that crap but not horrible. Also I LOVE this idea!!! What if towards the end like Carter kind of gives up hope on finding/saving him and then kinda stumbles upon Arria out of the blue, but like Carter has like another relationship forming (not as strong as Carter and Arria, but like there’s something there) or something like that=drama?)

(Yessss, omg I love it! The more drama the better. Okay so do we want to finish the scene we were on or just go straight to the time skip or go to when Maria takes Arria?)

(Lol, I don’t really mind. But probably either the time skip or when Maria comes)

(Alright then, so maybe when Maria comes. How should she get to Arria?)

(Maybe Carter and Arria take a trip to the surface just to chill out? Like at the rock pool and she finds them?)

Carter smiled as he broke the surface of the water. He’d just taken a potion, so it’d be a little while until his legs came back, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to sunbathe a little. “Wanna relax here a little bit, love?” Carter asked with a smile as he pulled himself up onto a small rock. It was a beautiful day, a few storm clouds in the distance but it didn’t look like it was going to rain here. The sun was shining brightly and there was only a small salty breeze in the air.

Arria popped up from under the water, brushing his hair out of his face with a smile, "Sounds like a good plan." He hummed, turning himself onto his back to float next to Carter and his rock. He sighed, shading his face form the blazing sun with his hand, "How long do you think it's gonna take for someone to come bother us?"

“Hmmm… I’d give it a half hour at maximum,” Carter said with a laugh as he closed his eyes. “If anyone comes around, they’ll have to go through me. I want this day to be our relax day, so no one is allowed to bring any bad news to us until tomorrow,” Carter declared with a light laugh. They’d been through so much lately, all Carter wanted for himself and Arria was to have a break.
Of course, fate didn’t like that plan very much, did it? Unbeknownst to Carter, there was a little tiny camera hidden between a couple rocks—currently alerting a particular someone of their presence here.

Arria sighed, shaking his head with a light laugh, “If you say so. Though it might be impossible but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.” He turned himself over, placing both hands on the rock near Carter’s face, resting his head on his arms with a smile.

Carter laughed, “We need a day off, we deserve it.” Carter heard a small buzz, maybe a distant boat or some noise coming off land, he didn’t think it was worthy being worried about. Carter rolled over to get closer to Arria, pecking him on lips. Gosh he just loved this man, and he didn’t hesitate to voice it. “I love you.”

Arria flushed ever so slightly, a part of him still not used to hearing those words, "I love you too." He smiled, pecking Carter back and then on both of his cheeks. The buzzing didn't register in Arria's mind, to focused on Carter.

“You’re perfect, you know that?” Carter said with a huge grin. He simply loved this merman to the moon and back. Carter’s hand snaked around Arria’s waist and his fingers dashed over his skin. He wanted to draw that beautiful laugh out of the love of his life.

Arria squirmed slightly, a giggle escaping him a moment later, "N-No. I'm far from perfect, Carter." He giggled again, ready to dive backwards to get away if Carter decided to tickle him.

Carter smiled, the growing sounds of the buzz completely absent from his mind when he could listen to that perfect giggle coming from his boyfriend. Carter picked himself up and pulled himself on top of Arria with a grin. “I’m not getting off you until you admit you’re absolutely perfect,” He smirked, putting all his weight on the other man so he was trapped beneath. Then his hands worked their magic, hunting down any ticklish spots he could find.
He didn’t even notice how the buzzing clicked off. He didn’t even notice slight movement behind a couple rocks.

Arria made an 'oof' sound when Carter squashed him, trying to wiggle away with no luck, "C-Carter!" He laughed, "S-Stop it!" He tried to push the other off of him, though was too busy laughing and giggling to use his full strength to do so, "Get off me!"

Carter grinned mischievously, his hands dancing across Arria’s skin as he cackled, “Never! Not until you admit you’re the most perfect merman in existence!” Carter’s fingers danced up and down Arria’s sides, up and down, up and down, up and- then they stopped. Carter’s bright, mischievous grin morph into a wince, then a look over confusion, and then his eyes rolled to the back of his head and his head fell down limply. He was unconscious, with a dart stuck in the side of his neck. It was only a matter of seconds before a net was thrown over them, four strong looking men and women quickly surrounding the two of them.

Arria gasped, "Carter!?" He maneuvered himself so he was closer to Carter's face, placing his hands on his cheeks, "Carter wake up!" He pulled the dart out of his neck, looking around at the men and women on all sides of them both. There was only one person he could think of who could do something like this, "Maria?"

One of the men chuckled, and ordered something to the others in a different language, but if one listened close enough they might be able to hear a word that sounded like ‘Maria’. Two walked on top of the net and shoved Carter off of Arria with their feet. They planned to leave him here, evident by how they grabbed Arria’s forearms and began to twist the net around him. They were trying to tangle him in it.

Arria wasn't going to go without at least some struggle, trying to pull his arms out from the grip the men had on him. He twisted his body but his tail just ended up getting caught in the net. That wasn't going to stop him from struggling, trying to do anything to get away but the more he tried the more the net just got stuck on him.

(Heyyy man sorry for late responses, life has been super stressful lately and has kinda gone to heck, I’ll prolly be on more later in the month when winter break comes)

One woman smirked a little, she looked kinda like a ringleader of sorts, and pulled out a dart. She crouched in front of Arria and stuck it in his shoulder. “Sleep tight, sea demon,” She said softly, an indistinct yet heavy accented voice. The other three wrapped the net tighter around Arria, then began to heave him up.

Arria tried to fight off sleep, tried to reach back to Carter or call out to someone. But he didn’t have any luck with it, eyes fluttering closed as sleep finally took him away.

On land, another boat was preparing to speed off in the same direction, a group of men and woman alike climbing onto the boat and starting to head towards the group.

The group left Carter where he was, splayed out across a rock, while they took netted Arria to a small speed boat. The ‘ringleader’ took out her phone and press one of the contacts before holding the device to her ear. “Maria, we’ve acquired your specimen, we’re heading back to base now. It’s only a matter of time. before profits role in, ma’am.”
