"River Ashen?" Miss Abigail asks again.

“Um, I can’t see so, could you, uh, take me there please?” Kai peeped shyly, embarrassed he was making such a bad impression.

"Kylan Merise!" Mr Craigson yells again.

“Yeah I’m here what’s up?” River replied

"I'm just taking the roll, that's all. Raven Carter?"

"Right," Asher said, understanding. "Sure, I'll guide you there."

"No Kylan? OK then. Asher Lemaire!"

“Thanks,” Kai smiled.

"How do people usually guide you?" Asher asked. He heard the teacher call out his name. "Over here!" he called before turning back to the guy he was helping.

"Kai Lowe!" Mr Craigson calls after he hears Asher say here.

Evaline waited silently to be called upon, tapping her thigh in a pattern.

“Here, sir!” He called. Kai turned back to the boy who was helping him, “One of my sisters usually help me out,” Kai explained, “I would ideally have a dog, but my family couldn’t get enough money for one.”

"No Raven Carter?" Miss Abigail asks. "Evaline Hayes?"

"Good to know," Mr Craigson answers. "Elijah Addle!"

"A dog would be cool," Asher said as he helped guide Kai towards the teacher. "For now, just stick with me and you'll be fine."

"Present." Evaline stated simply.

"Kylan Merise!" Mr Craigson yells again.

“Thanks, I’m Kai, by the way,” Kai introduced himself.

“Oh flIP YOU CALLED MY NAMe.” Kylan exclaimed, realizing his surroundings.

"Who are you?" Mr Craigson asks.

“Kylan.”

“Thanks, I’m Kai, by the way,” Kai introduced himself.

"Asher," Asher stated. "And no problem."

"Oh, good. Elijah Addle!"

Maybe his name wouldn't be called and he would be sent home. Timothy smiled at the thought, checking his watch and staring at the ceiling.

"No Elijah? OK then. Timothy Jack!"

Crap. He raised a gloved hand, hair covering his eyes. "I'm sorry to say that I'm present."
