“Only one way to find out.” Calli began to cook, listening to the old stove creek and hiss. “Anything is better than this.”

"He's just got personality." Trix replied, grinning.

“Don’t misgender my stove.” Calli teased gently.

"Oh, sorry, what should I refer to them as then?"

“It’s a she. Part of our girl gang.” Calli grabbed a plate, scraping out some scrambled eggs onto it. “Trix, these are yours.”

"Daily dose of iron." She quipped, referring to the rust in the pan, before shoveling eggs into her mouth.

“Hey, an anemic person would kill for this pan. It does its job.” Calli grumbled playfully, cracking two more eggs in the pan for Mari.

"I'd kill for a pan without rust." Trix replied with a grin.

“Unless you’re going to steal a brand new pan for me, don’t complain.” Calli lectured, rolling her eyes.

"Watch me."

“Please do.” Calli smirked. “I need new supplies desperately.

"Give me a list, and I'll do what I can~" Trix smiled, almost evilly.

“Gladly.” Calli returned the smile, but hers was a lot more gentle. “Just be careful, will you? We barely have any medical supplies as it is.”

"You know how good I am at talking my way out of trouble." Not to mention getting into it.

“Trix, we both know how dangerous it is out there. Not everyone is interested in talking.”

"Oh, what has the world come to?" She said dramatically.

Calli rolled her eyes. ”Please be careful if you plan on raiding somewhere.”

"Maybe. We'll see what I'm in the mood for."

Calli sighed in defeat. “You being stronger than me does not make you invincible.”
