“Extra, Extra..Read all about it! ‘P.T Barnum and his Circus Freaks come to Brooklyn and Have a Blast!” Sabelle Slateman waved papers in the air, trying to catch the attention of the hundreds of thousands of men and women that walked the streets. She had been trying to sell papers as she did every day, but on this particular day she’d only had three buyers. She sighed and put her arm down, letting her arm hang limply. She made her way to an alleyway and leaned up against the mossy brick wall. She pulled her cap off her head, letting her thick, chestnut brown hair tumble to her shoulders.
“Maybe if I dressed like I was supposed to, I would get more customers..and boys..” she mused to herself.

"One hundred and five." Finley was always way to specific with the amount of papers that he wanted. He slammed the money down. "Very funny Skid." The man said, giving him the paper. Finley groaned as he read the headline of the New York Sun. Stupid New Yorkers ruinin' it for all of us.. He threw the paper into his bag, counting to make sure that he was given the right amount.
