Bethany took a deep breath. "I don't want to go in." She whispered, panicking.

Jake nodded, "I'll be with you the entire time, it'll be okay,"

Bethany nodded, slowly getting out of the car.

Jake followed Beth to the house, he just wanted to be there for her.

Bethany gently opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind Jake. She lead him into the living room, where her parents were waiting. Her dad looked furious.
"BETHANY! YOU WERE TO BE HERE A HALF AN HOUR AGO! AND…HIM!" He shouted. "WHY IS THERE A BOY HERE?" When she didn't answer right away, he shouted, "BETHANY CARSON, ANSWER ME!" Bethany flinched and bit her lip.
"I'm sorry." She mumbled.

"Umm, hi," He smiled, "I'm Hudson but you can call me Jake," That was his favorite joke to confuse people. "We go to school together and we were going to study after this,"

Bethany's dad looked furious.
Bethany's brother(I forgot she has a brother) Matt walked in at that instant. "Dad! Leave her alone it wasn't her fault!" He shouted.
"You listen here boy, don't you talk to me like that!"
Bethany got the signal from her brother and grabbed Jack's wrist, dragging him up the stairs because the way out was blocked by her dad.

"H-Hello sir," He smiled kindly.

(Beth dragged Jake up the stairs so they're no longer in the living room…)

He allowed himself to be dragged after her, he was a little confused but not ignorant.

Bethany closed her door quickly, after grabbing her little sister from her room. "Okay, let's see if Matt–" She grabbed the rope dangling from her window. "Yup. Alright. Let's get out of here." She said, grabbing an overnight bag that was under her bed. "Guess we're staying at Elizabeth's again tonight."

Bethany grabbed her sister and helped her down the rope after throwing her back into her brother's truck below. She motioned for Jack to go out the window.
