"Tired, the both of us. Wedding planning is no small feat." she said. "How have you all been?"

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Busy. You would not believe how many Gods there are." Will mutters. "Both Greek and nongreek. I have to sort through all of them." Nico chuckles. "Things in the underworld have been fairly simple, just a few issues here and there."

"I'll pretend I understood that." Alison said. An older woman with incredibly pale skin and greying hair, as well as an obscene amount of makeup, was strolling towards them. "Hide me." Alison hissed. "That's Joe's mum. Lord save me from in-laws." she said, ducking out of the way, running over to some other side of the room.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico laugh softly at this. "No need to worry about it, Alison." Nico smiles warmly, something rare for the son of Hades indeed. When she ran off the both of them laugh and go back to talking with each other.

"Hello, Jillian Latham. Have you seen where my son's wife may have run off to?" the woman asked. Her presence seemed to loom over one like a vulture, her appearance was impressive and imposing. "I need to discuss a few things with her, she keeps avoiding me." Jillian said.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico look at the woman. "Nico Di Angelo." Will bows slightly. "Will Solace ma'am. I believe I saw her go that way." He points the opposite way Alison had ran. "You just missed her."

"Hmph. Well, enjoy the festivities." Jillian said, strolling off. Alison crawled back up from underneath the table she had taken refuge under and signed with relief. "That was close." she giggled.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico laugh softly. "No kidding." He chuckles. Will rests against Nico with a large smile on his lips. "That was interesting."

"If it isn't Allie-shine! How are you, darling?" a person holding a camera, about in their twenties, with blond hair pulled up into a ponytail, sparkling blue eyes, and a grey pinstripe suit said, walking up to Alison. "Hi! Paris, this is Will Solace and Nico Di Angelo. Will, Nico, this is Paris Gates, my best friend, wedding photographer, and, er, Bride's Assistant of honor." Alison introduced. "Hi! Lovely to meet you both!" Paris said, extending their free hand for a handshake, as they were holding their camera in the other.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico allow Paris to shake hands. "Pleasure to meet you." Will says brightly, his blue eyes glimmering. Nico nods politely before returning to Wills side.

"So, how did you meet? I haven't quite been introduced yet, and I'm sure I would have been if it hadn't been incredibly recently." Paris said. Alison's face grew white as a sheet, and she mouthed 'Lie to them, please guys.' quickly.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Nico tends to travel a lot with his father. I usually join, since my mother is busy attending to a summer camp. We met her on the road and we've stayed in touch since then. We rarely visit, since we have to keep traveling." Will says cheerfully. Nico nods in agreement.

"Well that's certainly interesting. Anyways, I've stuff to do. It's nice meeting you two." Paris said, walking off. Alison gave a sigh of relief. "I forgot that most people aren't aware of alien life. Or demigods. Erm, sorry about all that." Alison said.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will ane Nico laugh softly. "It's alright, Alison." Nico says happily. "We have to give that excuse a lot." Will explains.

"Where is the spring and the summer; That once was yours and mine?Where did it go? I just don't know; But still my love for you will live forever…" began to play over the loudspeakers. "Well, I presume that's my cue. Joe!" Alison called over to her newlywed husband. She stole a glance back at Will and Nico, winking towards them, and began to dance with Joe.

(Good evening! How are you?)

@Vuclan-is-tired

I'm very tired, lol. You?//

Will and Nico watch her go with bright smiles. "I'm so happy for her." Will mutters, kissing Nico's cheek.

(Yeah, same. Just got in an argument with my dad, he's nice and well meaning but rather unfortunately… a little homophobic. And I brought up that I liked a certain girl, and he… didn't take it very well. But I'll be fine. Hopefully.)

"Aren't you going to ask me to dance?" the Doctor said, strolling over to his best nemesis. "Oh, I thought I was incurably evil." the Master replied nonchalantly, not looking the Doctor in the eye. "But do you dance? Will you?" the Doctor pleaded. The Master raised his brows. "Sometimes I think you take going native a little too seriously, Doctor." he snarked. "I take that as a no? Well, it's never too late to learn!" the Doctor grinned.

He seized the Master by the hand and pulled him up. The Master glared, and moved stiffly, but the Doctor glared back, and with lots of determination forced the Master into participating. Once he did, it was easy to show him - the Master simply could not bear to fail at such a simple task, and all Time Lords had an ear for rhythms. It came with the territory; in a way, music was just another way to keep the time. While the music grew wilder and faster, the Master danced with a single-minded frown, letting the Doctor guide him across the dance floor, but towards the end of the song, as the music became softer and slower, he reversed their positions, drawing the Doctor close and taking the lead.

Alison watched the two from her seat, she had tripped and twisted her ankle during the quote frankly wild, energetic tango she had gotten herself into. She looked over to Will and Nico, nodding to them that they could take the floor, and leaned back into her husband's lap, laughing with joy at the euphoria and excitement of the event.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will bows to Nico. "My prince, will you join me for this dance?" He asks, pressing a kiss to his hand. Nico smiles and nods. "Please~" Will leads him on to the dance floor.

I understand that, my dad was really homophobic until I came out, lol.//

(Hmm. I came out and he's still homophobic, but I guess some people's minds aren't easy to change. It doesn't mattet, at least my mom's cool with it.)

After a few minutes, Alison's ankle had recovered, and she and Joe began to dance again. This time, the Doctor sat out, with the Master standing in his own corner away from his partner. Though they were only a few feet away, their expressions made them seem galaxies apart. "Hello, and who might you be?" the woman from earlier, Jillian, asked the Master. "I saw you walking my daughter in law down the aisle." she said critically. "Ah, you must be the delightful Mrs. Latham I've heard so much about! Allow me to introduce myself, I am Professor Zeno Wolfgang LeMaitre." the Master lied. "I was the delightful Mrs. Cheney's Latin teacher. I believe we must have met at some point." he said firmly. Mrs. Latham's eyes glazed over, and then she snapped out of the trance. "Ah, Professor, yes! I'm so sorry, I'm incredibly flustered today!" Jillian stuttered. "Ah, if you will excuse me, I believe my colleague wishes to speak with me." he said, noticing the Doctor's warning glance. He got up out of his seat, and then followed the Doctor outside.

Alison noticed the Doctor leaving just as the last song came to an end. She ran out after him, hiding behind the bushes when she saw the heated argument.

"I said no hypnotism!" the Doctor shouted, hands in the air. "My dear, there is a difference between hypnotism and suggestion. You're making a fool of yourself." the Master replied. "Well I don't know, Professor. You tell me." the Doctor snapped. "Well, given that Mrs. Cheney and Mr. Latham happen to be watching us, I suggest we cease this discussion and leave it to a later hour." the Master replied. "Alison, come on out, you're embarrassing yourself. You too, Joe." the Doctor said wearily. "Sorry." Alison said, stepping out behind the bush, Joe following. "But really. Where are you two heading off to? We haven't even had a snog in the shrubbery yet, and you go swanning off to the TARDIS without me!" Alison snapped. "Well, I'm sorry. Go snog then." the Doctor said sarcastically, leaning against the TARDIS casually. "Oh heck no." she said, pushing open the doors and walking inside. Joe cautiously followed, and was awed by the sight. "But-what the-it's huge on the interior!" he gasped. "Oh, just say it's bigger on the inside. It's like you people try to jazz it up." the Doctor said, walking inside the TARDIS, and the Master following. "So is this goodbye then?" Alison asked. "Well, I don't know. Joe?" the Doctor said. "Yeah, definitely goodbye." Joe said. "Well, let's wait for Will and Nico. Don't want to leave them behind!" the Doctor said cheerfully, spinning around the console room. "Doctor, how much have you had to drink?" Alison said. "Oh, I don't know, nine glasses of champagne? But never mind that, we've got places to see!" he said. Alison chuckled at his ridiculousness, and waited for Will and Nico to arrive. All of time and space, and she could see it all. Joe was still in shock, barely registering the conversation. It was bigger on the inside. That little blue box broke all laws of physics known to man.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico we're currently getting drinks when they had seen the Master and Doctor leave. "I guess that's our cue." Will says softly. Nico nods and kisses his forehead. "I suppose it is." He chuckles before they walk towards the TARDIS. Will smiles. "Ready?" Nico nods. They Shadow travel into the TARDIS, almost landing on Joe. "Sorry!" Will squeaks.

"What in the name of sanity?!" Joe yelped. "Glad to see you two show up! Now, how does a train ride sound? A train in space?" the Doctor suggested, flipping a switch on the console. The doors closed, and the engines began to creak and groan, taking off. Joe, however, was unable to process all of this, and had passed out.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will quickly took action, placing a glowing ball of sunlight over his chest, pressing it in gently. "that should wake him up." He throws a look at Nico who shrugs innocently. Nico looks at the doctor. "Doctor. How much did you drink?" He asks, raising a brow.

"Who cares?" he gave an enormous grin, skipping over the threshold of the room. "I certainly don't. This is a time of celebration, my friends!" the Doctor said. He cheerfully tapped in coordinates, ignoring Alison's facepalming.

@Vuclan-is-tired

It seemed as if Nico and Will joined her in the facepalming. "Should I knock him out?" Nico whispers to Alison.

"No, he does this a lot. I've learned to put up with it." Alison whispered in return. The Master was merely watching with an amused look on his face, Alison assumed that he wouldn't do anything to calm the Doctor down. "And we've landed! Now come on, come on!" he said, taking Alison's hand and dragging her out, along with Joe, who was still a little discombobulated. "Doctor? I'm in my wedding dress." Alison pointed out. "Fine. Go change. The wardrobe's moved though, I reset the internal configuration, so don't get lost!" he called back.

Alison found the wardrobe with ease, despite it being in a different place, and came out wearing a stewed cherry cocktail dress, as well as matching earrings. "Alright, flapper or slapper?" she asked. "Flapper, you look lovely. Come on now!" the Doctor said quickly.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico glance at each other before walking after the doctor. When Alison returned Will coos. "You look incredible!" He gasps.

"Your train awaits, my lady." the Doctor said, leading her through a shabby looking baggage hold. "Wonderful." Alison said, looking towards Joe. "The baggage car. But thanks for lying. The real wonderful is through here." he said, leading her to a door. The train's bell rang out cheerfully. Music was coming from nearby. "There were many trains to take the name Orient Express," the Doctor began, opening the door to the main room, "but only one," he continued, swinging open the door, "in space!" the door swung open to reveal comfortable chairs with red velvet down the side of the carriage, a bar at one end, and armed men standing guard. The band was playing a slow jazz, with a woman standing off to the side, singing. "Completely faithful recreation of the original Orient Express. Except slightly bigger. And in space. Oh, and the rails are actually hyperspace ribbons. But in every other respect, identical. Painstaking attention to detail." the Doctor said. "Wow. This is amazing, thank you!" Alison said. An indicator mounted on the wall by the door changes from a monocle to a thumbs up with a ting! The onboard computer, who had the posh voice of a British gentleman, spoke. "Ladies and gentlemen. If you would be good enough to look from the windows on the right of the train, you'll be able to see the soaring majesty of the Magellan black hole." the computer announced cheerfully. Outside was a brilliant display of blacks and purples, amongst the white specks of the stars. "I went here once, when I was very young. Just barely 90. It was amazing, but terrifying as well." the Doctor reminisced. "Planets as far as the eye could see. All gone now, though, gobbled up by that beast."

@Vuclan-is-tired

Will and Nico talk excitedly as they enter the train. Nico was looking a little worried, but will was excited beyond compare.

"That's a lie!" a young blond shouted, overhearing the conversation. The music stopped playing, and the Doctor turned his head. "I'm sorry, what?" he asked, bemused. "That's a lie, what you said. Those planets were destroyed thousands of years ago, so you couldn't have been there." she retorted. The chief train guard walked over. He wore a navy blue uniform with two medals, lots of gold frogging and had a gun in a holster. "Miss Pitt, are you sure you wouldn't rather rest in your room?" he asked. "That man's a liar." the woman, Miss Pitt apparently, said. "Perhaps you'd allow Mister Carlyle here to escort you back." the chief said gently, he gestured to another uniformed guard. "It'll be all right, miss. Just come with me." Carlyle said, escorting her off. "Sorry about that. I suppose it's understandable in the circumstances. I don't believe we've been introduced. Captain Quell." he told them, offering a hand. Joe took it, still mildly baffled at the whole thing. "I'm Alison. This is the Doctor. And that's my husband, Joe, he's a doctor as well, in a different way though, medical, and those two are friends of mine, Will and Nico." she said. "Ah, another two." Quell nodded. "Sorry? Another what?" Alison asked. "Well, we've got doctors and professors coming out of our ears on this trip. So, what are you a doctor of? You, I mean, not this Joe sir, who the fine lady already introduced me to." Quell turned to the Doctor. "Now, there's a question that's never asked often enough. Let's say Unconventional Cricket. It's a rather enticing game, cricket is." the Doctor said drolly. "I'm beginning to think Miss Pitt was right about you." Quell replied, bemused. "What's wrong with her? Did something happen?" Alison asked. "You mean you really don't know?" Quell asked, slightly mortified.
