"Fine, fine. Whatever you wish, Mara." He says, humming a little bit.
One on one, just for fun! (CLOSED)
"Right-o." she said, leading Halo out to a modern looking blue Jeep and getting inside, indicating to him to follow.
He get into shot gun, humming lazily. "I could just fly us there." he says, looking out the window.
"Yes, but that will attract unwanted attention from the normal humans. Also, no sticking your wings out at people, it'll frighten them."
He growls slightly, making his wings shrink into his back. "Alright, whatever."
"Let's go." she said, starting the car and driving off.
He sighs, watching the road as she drives. He preffered flying. I got his there quicker, plus he felt free doing so.
"I would attempt small talk, but you don't seem to have anything remotely useful to say."
"Nor do you." He retorts.
"Ah, that is where you are wrong, you see. I am incredibly clever, everything I have to say is useful."
"Prideful… aren't we…" He mutters, rolling his eyes.
"No, rather more insightful. I presume you would not know the difference, so shall I distinguish them?"
"I'll pass." He sighs softly, and stares out the window.
"Ah, but you would."
"Like I said, I'll pass." He mutters.
"I suppose you do."
He chuckles lightly, "So where exactly is this cafe?" he asks curiously.
"That is for me to know, and you to find out."
He huffs and sighs softly, looking back outside.
Mara pulled up to a small cafe, one that barely anyone would notice even in broad daylight.
He perks, happy to finally have stopped.
"Might I remind you, no flailing your wings about."
"Fine, fine." He draws his wings into his back, sighing lightly.
