He stood there, hesitating to knock. He finally pushed himself forward and knocked softly. What if it was all a joke? And, like, she's just playing me like Jess did?

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) opened the door. "Hey! You're Jackson, right? Ivy was talking about you yesterday. Come on in! She's just upstairs, as you can hear. You'll find her pretty quick." She chuckled as she listened to Michael In The Bathroom blast from Ivy's bedroom.

(miCHael iN tHe bAThroOm at a pARty, nO yOu can'T coME iN!)

He was surprised at first that she had said Ivy had talked about him. "Oh, um, thanks." He stepped past her and began the heart racing walk upstairs. He neared her door, almost trembling from the music, and knocked. "Ivy?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"One second!" She called, quickly pausing her music, trying her best to not get paint on her phone and opened the door. "Hey! There's my star boy, I was wondering when you'd get here. Come on in!" She stepped aside and returned to her canvas that she'd been working on all morning.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

"Hey there." He stepped through the door frame careful, almost as if he was going to break something. All he could do was look at her for a moment. Shes beautiful. With the paint everywhere, some would say she was a mess. All he could think was what a beautiful mess she was and how she could be his for once.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Don't mind the paint that's literally everywhere. I told you, I'm an artist." She chuckled, blowing a stray piece of hair out of her face. "Take a seat! This shouldn't be too much longer, then I'll be able to let it dry." She gestured to her desk in the corner of the room. Paper, pencils, markers, paint brushes, everything sat in cases or boxes, meticulously placed unlike the disarray of her easal. She picked up her paintbrush and resumed her work.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

He did as she said and sat. His eyes watched her stroke the canvas in awe. She was amazing. Each stroke brought another part of a picture he would never be able to imagine as beautifully.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She hummed as she worked, bringing the sunrise she'd seen just a few hours earlier to life on the material in front of her. She pushed her glasses up with the back of her hand and pulled her face closer to the canvas to be sure of perfect details. After about 5 minutes, she put her paintbrush down and smiled. "And done! All that's left is to let it dry!"

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Jackson sat in awe. "But- wait, that's. That's amazing. How? I don't even. What?" He was so confused with how amazing she painted. How come I couldn't have met her years ago? We could be so far now.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She shrugged. "I tried." She removed the pencil and pen from her hair and took the hair ties out, leaving it to fall back into the slightly wavy mess she'd pulled it up into that morning. "You can come look if you want. I don't bite."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

He stood and walked over to the painting. "This is just. I can't. Whoa. It's amazing. It looks exactly this morning." He blew out a sigh. "I just. Whoa."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Well, that's cause it is this morning's sunrise. I get up at 6 am every morning and watch the sunrise. It helps calm my nerves." Her attention was pulled to his lips when he spoke. She couldn't help it, she was just curious. She kissed him once, would he be so opposed if she did it again?

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(Oh yeeeeaaaahhh forgot to say the powers are widely accepted but somehow don't make that much of a difference to society. That or it's just me being lazy lol)

He couldn't take his eyes off the painting. "Is this your power? I mean, if you have one. Some people don't some do, you know this I don't know why I'm even saying this but anyway- Is it?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She chuckled softly. "Do you know how many people have asked me that? No, it isn't. This is just me being a perfectionist."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

"Oh, well sorry. I didn't mean to make it sound like you needed powers to do that it's just that I've never seen anything like it. I mean, I've never been a true perfectionist so I don't really know what it looks like to be one you know and its-" Shut up! "-It looks good. Really good."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She laughed. "No, I do have powers, I just don't use them. Mind control makes me feel weird." She grabbed a bottle and a spare rag, dousing the rag in the liquid and started scrubbing her arms with the paint remover. "This could take a while."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Mind control… He watched as she scrubbed her arms. "Do you need…help?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Yeah, can you grab that hanger over there?" She pointed to a shirt on a hanger on her closet knob.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

"Sure." He walked over to the closet and took the hanger into his hands. "Here you go." He handed her the shirt with a smile.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Thanks love." She smiled at him before unbuttoning the faded shirt and slipping it off, shivering slightly at the sudden cold attacking her skin. She replaced it with the black tank top he'd given her, pulling on the black and white flannel that had been with it.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

The word 'love' echoed in his brain. As she began to start changing, he looked to the ground, his face burning red. She called me love.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She ran her fingers through her hair, humming lightly. "Ahhh, much better." She put the canvas off to the side to dry and replaced it with a sketchpad. "Now, what to do next?" She glanced around the room before her eyes landed on him. "Hey, would you be willing to let me draw you?"

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

He looked up to her. "I, umm, sure." (Sorry, really busy at the moment)

@Elder-God-Jacks347

(Nah it's all good)
"Then take a seat, this might take a while so get comfortable." She smiled, picking at a splotch of orange paint on her neck.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

"Okay." He did as she said and sat. He'd never been drawn before, but he knew that she'd do amazing at it. After all, not many can paint a sunrise exactly.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She repinned her hair up and grabbed her pencil. "Alright, another day, another project. Let's do this." She twirled her pencil before starting, sketching gently with a soft hum to keep her focus, glancing over at him every once in a while.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Any other person would have been bored. Not him, no. He sat there and watched yet pencil meet the paper, motions around the page- everything. He could have sat there forever. Gosh, she's beautiful.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She bit her lip softly in concentration, this wasn't a project she could mess up. Steady…steady…God he's cute.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Jackson was careful not to move too much. He knew to do that. Besides that, he just watched in awe. It was like he was stargazing at midnight, each little movement of hers a spark of light in the sky.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

(Sorry! Dinner called.)
She smiled as she worked, proud of her work so far. She needed to capture the pure perfection of the image or it would be all for nothing.
