"I'll get it!" John hopped up from his chair and walked towards the door.

Moments later John appeared in the flat with who bags of takeout.

"Dumplings," John stated as he set the two bags onto the crowded dinner table.

"Okay. What about them?"

"They are delicious." John chuckled as he began to open one of the bags.

"And?"

"I like them?" John took out a foam container filled with greatness.

"Oh. Okay. I'll be in the living room if you need me."

"Okay." John smiled as he opened the takeout box excitedly.

The sounds of violin filled the flat. Sherlock had resumed playing, it was a little loud but not louder than normal.

John sighed happily as he ate his dumplings and listened to Sherlock play. This was the life. How he had missed it.

(Since not much is happening we could time skip again to some point in the plot.)
