(I was generally planning for it to be John falls asleep but Sherlock moves him to the bedroom and then cuddle idk if that's stupid or not.)

After a lovely dinner, John decided to sit on the couch and read the book he originally came to fetch. It's was pretty late, and John's eyelids began to feel heavy. He tried to shake off the feeling, but soon he gave in and felt himself drifting into a peaceful sleep.

Sherlock saw John asleep. He gingerly picked him up and carried him to the bedroom. He set John on the bed and lay down beside him, thinking about how hard it must have been for John when Sherlock disappeared.

John snored quietly, feeling perfectly at home in the soft bed. He smiled in his sleep and searched for the blanket.

Sherlock dozed off, unable to stay awake any longer.

Sherlock woke up, John was beside him like last night. He didn't want to move but he needed to work on a plan to break the news he was alive. Five more minutes would be fine, it's not that long.

John felt the warm sunlight pouring into the room and hitting his face. He groaned and tried to move out of the way. Suddenly he remembered where he was and opened his eyes. Before him was Sherlock. He groaned and managed to mumble out a few words. "Good morning." He said as he rubbed his eyes tiredly.

"Good morning yourself." Sherlock yawned.

John chuckled and sat up. "Ughh, what time is it?" He asked.

"I would assume around six thirty."

"Let's stay like this a little longer." Sherlock mumbled into the pillow.

John sighed and considered staying. He gave in. "Okay, just a few more minutes." He yawned and collapsed back down on the bed, resuming his former position.

Sherlock flopped an arm around John. "Let's be like this forever…." he mumbled.
