Erica narrows her eyes at him but walks inside

Death sits down at a table. A waiter walks up, when he looks at Death he goes into a sort of hypnotized trance. "Good day, sir. What can I get for you?" he asks. "THE USUAL." Death responds, drumming his skeletal fingers on the table. "And you, ma'am?" he asks Erica.

Ercia jumped slightly but nods, "Uh… Yeah. Ill have what ever he's having… I guess?"

"With you in a moment." the waiter said as he walked off, still mildly dazed.

Erica watches him, confused, "Uh… What's wrong with him?"

"HE IS SEEING WHAT HE EXPECTS TO SEE, INSTEAD OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY THERE. HUMANS GREATEST TALENT IS IGNORANCE." Death said. "ONLY CATS, THE DEAD OR DYING, AND THOSE OF A MAGICAL DISPOSITION CAN SEE ME. THE AVERAGE HUMAN CANNOT."

"But Im a human. And I can see you like normal." Erica accidentally knocks over her drink.

"YOU ARE A SPECIAL CASE." Death said, looking out the window absentmindedly.

"A special case. Meaning?"

"YOU ARE EMPLOYED UNDER A SUPERNATURAL BEING OR PERSONIFICATION, ME." he said.

"ALTHOUGH YOUNGER PEOPLE TEND TO SEE WHAT IS ACTUALLY THERE, RATHER THAN BLOCK IT OUT OF THEIR MINDS LIKE ADULTS DO." Death added.

"Oh! Ok." She looks away from him awkwardly.
(I wont be here for about two days at the least starting tomorrow)

(Oh, okay.) Death appeared to feel awkward. He didn't know much about how to interact with humans.

"Soo…" Erica tried to break the silence, "Hows life?" She didnt mean the pun but she didnt say anything against it.

"I CANNOT LIVE. I WOULD NOT KNOW HOW LIFE IS." Death said.

Erica huffs, Its not like I didnt expect it, "Right. Then hows death."

"ARE YOU TRYING TO BE…. WHAT IS THE HUMAN TERM…. SARCASTIC?" Death asked.

Erica snorts and bangs her funny bone on the table by accident. She hisses but responds while holding her elbow, "You dont know what sarcasm is?"

"I KNOW SOME THINGS ABOUT IT. I HAVE EXISTED LONGER THAN YOU HAVE, I HAVE A VAST AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING HUMANS." Death said. And while he did know about humans, he didn't understand them, which sometimes made situations awkward.

Erica reaches over the table and flicks Death's forehead with her fingers, "Seriously."

"WHY DID YOU FLICK ME, GIRL?" Death asked.

"Your too old…" She sips her drink loudly.
