"WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS BANTER." Death said.

Erica laughs, "I win." She sits back in her seat with her arms crossed again.

"THERE IS A KING DYING. THAT IS AN EVENT I MUST ATTEND." he said. Death stood up. "COME ALONG. THE ASSASSIN HAS ALREADY ARRIVED, WE SHALL DO THE SAME."

"What?! What about the food?"

"SO YOU THINK WE CAN BE LATE? THIS EVENT IS WRITTEN IN STONE, FORCES BEYOND MY POWER COMMAND ME TO BE THERE." Death said, adding "THE LAWS OF PHYSICAL REALITY DEMAND IT."

"But… Your Death. You're the guy that kills."

"I?" he asked, offended. "NO. HUMANS GO AROUND GETTING THEMSELVES KILLED. I JUST CARRY ON AFTER THAT. BLOODY STUPID WORLD IF PEOPLE WENT AROUND GETTING KILLED WITHOUT DYING." Death said.

Erica raises her hands, "Alright! Calm down!"

"I AM CALM." Death said.

(Hey quick q… Why are his words all capitalized? Im just wondering.)
"Oh. Really…" Erica hisses to herself as she stands and follows him.

"DO NOT DAWDLE, WE HAVE WORK TO DO." Death said, mounting Binky.

Erica tried to dawdle as much as she could just to see his reaction.

Death stared her down, if looks could kill Death's certainly would.

Erica freezes at his look.

"COME ALONG, GIRL." Death said.

She doesnt dawdle any more but leaps up behind him-

Death rides Binky to a castle. "WE HAVE ARRIVED." he said, walking through a wall into the castle.

"Uh!" Erica stays on Binky and looks around

Death walks back. "I DID TELL YOU NOT TO DAWDLE. COME ALONG, GIRL." he said.

"What-! But-!" She motions at the wall

Death sighed. It was a long, hollow sigh, like lead slabs being dropped on concrete. He lead Erica to the wall. Death placed a bony hand on her shoulder and walked her through the wall, into a banquet hall filled with dining aristocrats who seemed not to be able to see the two. "THAT WASN'T SO HARD, WAS IT?" Death asked.

Erica was cringing slightly beside him, "Eh?"

Death surveyed the room.

Erica walks away from Death toward the head of table.
