Torin noticed the time on his computer 6:55. He should probably go. He climbed once again through the window of his room. There were no longer voices downstairs, except for his father's, yelling his name. He threw his bag on the ground and took the steps two at a time. "I'm sorry I didn't hear y-" His sentence was cut off by his father slamming him into the wall. "Where do you think you were? Didn't I tell you to not to leave when I have company?!" He roared in Torin's face. "I'm sorry I-" Cut off, again. "Sorry doesn't cut it this time!" He yelled, throwing Torin to the floor, which knocked the wind out of him. Grabbing his coat from the table, he leaned down next to him. "I hope you learned your lesson."

Leon went back to looking for something he could buy for his parents.

Torin flinched as the door slammed behind his father. There were tears streaming down his face as he lay on the ground. Just get up. All you have to do is get up. He thought, groaning as he crawled slowly up the stairs. Leaning against the side of his bed, he pulled out his laptop.
