Open Roleplay!!

Robin reached out to the stone. She only felt her fingertips brush the stone for a split second before being propelled backwards. Her back hit the rocky wall, and she yelped in pain.

Natalia's hand hovered over the stone before the girl was flown backward. In shock of what she just witnessed, her hand accidentally glided over the stone and she too was flown backward. She fell to the ground and clutched her head.

(I have to go for a little while. Will reply when I get back)

Frankie hesitates to touch the stone, after seeing what it had done to the other girls. She touches it anyway, and is flung upwards into the ceiling of the cave, before landing on the ground. She moans as she stands up, then leans on the side of the cave. Once she is able to, she stands up and helps the girl who first touched the stone. Frankie's eyes flash rose-red, then purple, then a bright green, before returning to their normal dull green.

"Thanks," Robin mumbled as one of the girls who had followed her helped her up. Robin felt a strange tingling sensation in her mind, kind of like a small, happy explosion occurred in her brain. In some sort of way, she felt . . . different. Not normal. "The name's Robin."

Finally on her feet, Robin shook her head to clear it. "What was that?"

Natalia got up and scretched her legs. "Are you guys okay?" She asked and went over to where the two girls were standing, looking as confused as she feels. "I have no idea what that was and what just happened, and why the stone is glowing… Hey, does anyone feel like…weird? I know I sound crazy but I just feel different. I don't know how to explain it."

Frankie looks up at the maroon haired girl. "Yeah, I think I'm fine. Just a little bruised." Instead of bruised, a scream emits from her mouth, so high and loud that the other girls cover their ears, but isn't affected by it. They all look around at each other before a rumbling makes them look up. "Run!" Robin screams, and they all run as fast as possible, the cave starting to collapse.

The three girls all bolted out of the cave as quick as they could, making it out right before the entrance was blocked. Being on the track team at her high school, Robin felt fine, but she noticed that the other girls were out of breath. "Well, it seems like we just entered an adventure movie," she said, laughing, despite the situation.

The girls all walked over to the trickling stream that was right in front of the entrance to the cave. Looking in the water, Robin noticed that her reflection was a bit off. Her eyes in the water were green, but once she blinked, they were blue again. Robin shook her head, then looked again. Blue. (This is the beginning to her finding out that she is a shapeshifter! yay!)

She looked up at the other two girls, who were still panting. "Is anything strange happening to you guys, or is it just me?" Robin asked.

(I have to go for an hour or two. Sorry)

(That's okay! But I'll be gone for a while too!)

Natalia frowned as she struggled to catch her breath. "Okay you're not going to believe me but I swear this was just bleeding," she told them as she raised her left arm. There was a scratch that was had almost completely healed and disappeared. "I don't know what happened in there, just that it was freaky. Why was the stone glowing? Why did the cave collapse? What is even happening?"

"I don't know about you guys, but what I REALLY wanna know is why I screamed like that. I mean, really. How?" Frankie asks. "And I swear my eyes changed colour before. Like a rose-red, then I think a purple and then SUPER bright green, then my normal green. What's happened to us?"

( Hi guys… would it be okay if I joined? Maybe my character could just be a by-stander, but then we find out she actually has powers to? If You don't want me to join its okay! )

(Maybe your character already had powers from a similar experience as ours and they realize that they're not the only ones with the powers?)

(I agree with @lilaccskyes about your character having powers from a similar experience @Solas. I think that would be much better than her (or him, would be a lot cooler than four females) somehow discovering that they suddenly have powers)

(Ok so two things. One: I had the idea that they get wings made of part of their powers, but only once they've mastered a power. Like, Frankie could get one pair of wings of either sheet music or music notes, another of pair made of animal paw prints (still working on that one), and another made of leaves or flowers. These wings only appear when necessary and only if that particular set of wings is needed. I know it might sound a bit confusing right now but if we do it later in the story, it might make more sense. I could do a little example but only if asked. Also, the wings make the particular magic/power it's made out of stronger. Such as if Natalia had wings made of fire, her power of fire while with the wings being there. Two: I've added some things to Frankie's profile.

Name: Frankie Dawson
Age: 19
Looks: Long hair, black to red. Green eyes and dark brown skin.
Identifying marks: When she was younger, she got caught up in a fire and has burns all along her back and legs, which is why she wears long clothes no matter how hot it is. She does have some tattoos but at this point in time they are a secret.
Normal clothes: She is very tomboyish/gothic. Likes to wear black jeans, a plaid or black top, a leather jacket and black boots. She is a little curvy but still fit, and proud of her body.
Personality: She stands up for herself and doesn't let any mean/rude comments affect her. She stands up for what she thinks is right.

(The wings idea sounds good! I guess Natalia's wings would flicker between the elements because she's an elementalist.)

Normal clothes: Jeans, black shirt, grey jacket, and sneakers.
Personality: I never write these, I prefer people to find out because if I do write something, I forget and act totally different.
Other: He wears a broken watch and never takes it off; it was his dad's.

(He sounds awesome! Okay, I had an idea about something. If someone doesn't answer for, let's say 12 hours or more, should we continue on and fill them in when they come back? I just came up with the idea so we keep the roleplay going. Let me know if you would rather wait for whoever to come back.)

"I don't know, but we have to figure it out," Robin said to the girl who had helped her up in the cave. "But, first things first, we need to know each other. So hi, I'm Robin."

"I'm Natalia. There's something freaky going on. We should probably get somewhere safer. It's getting dark," Natalia looked around the forest. It was definitely a lot darker than it was before they went into the cave. "Let's head closer to the camp."

As they walk back towards camp, it starts to rain. Somehow, Natalia's clothes are hardly wet.

"Is it….raining?" Frankie asks, looking around. Both herself and Natalia are almost untouched by the rain, but Robin is quickly soaked. Frankie looks up and is surprised to see some low hanging plants creating something that looks like a barrier to shield her from the rain. "What-"

"What? How are you guys completely dry? I'm drenched over here," Robin complained, but she laughed it off. Must have been luck or something.

As they got to the camp, they found that nobody was outside. Robin walked back to the bus that was luckily still parked and grabbed her duffel bag with her stuff for the summer. "Hey, what cabin are you girls in? I'm in Cabin G."

"No way, I'm in there too!" Natalia exclaimed as she took her bag and shuffled through it to make sure everything was still intact. She looked down at her unsoaked clothes and then to Robin's water-soaked body. Lia shook her head and forced the thought of this being somehow related to what happened in the cave away.
