Dakota shrugged and started for her seat. "Probably not. And if they do, they can deal."
"Okay!" Ender followed her like an eager puppy, happy he'd found someone to introduce him to other people so he wouldn't have to do the awkward introduction thing.

Dakota led him to a spot near the middle of the bus, where some kids were crowed up to three a seat, even though it was technically against the rules. A tall blonde leaned over one of the seats, her arms resting in the back of the seat in front of her as she pushed herself up on her tiptoes. A dark-haired boy sat in the seat beside her, leaning back in a very relaxed-looking way as he gave Dakota a small smile. Another boy, this one very blond, though it didn't look dyed, was scribbling in a notebook in the seat across the isle from them, and a very similar-looking girl sat beside him and watched over his shoulder.
"Ender, this is Willow–" The tall blonde girl. "Sterling–" The chill guy. "Fox, and Robyn–" The twins. "Guys, this is Ender. He's from Minnesota."
Ender gave a small wave. "Hello!"
He suddenly remembered he left his mother behind with no warning. He really should call her, but he didn't want to be rude, so he just tried not to grimace as he smiled at the Dakota's friends.

"Hey," Willow greeted him with a small smile as she sat down beside Sterling, who simply nodded in response.
Fox didn't look up from his art but managed to murmur a "'Sup."
"Minnesota? Cool. You like the snow?" Robyn wondered as she glanced up at him with a grin. "And the cold? How cold does it get there?"
"Pretty cold." He replied. "One time the snow piled up to our front door."

Everyone’s headed whipped up at this statement.
“Really? That’s a lot of snow,” Willow mused.
Ender chuckled, starting to fiddle with the keychain on his backpack. "Yeah," He cleared his throat. "So what are you guys' interests?"

“Art,” Fox answered immediately, his gaze back down on whatever he was drawing. He drew on anything and everything, as long as it wouldn’t get him in trouble.
Willow shrugged and checked her nails. “I like dance and stuff. Mostly contemporary type things.”
Robyn grinned at Ender as she looked back up at him from her twin’s artwork. “I like hiking and nature. I know a lot about animals,” she answered easily.
“I just do whatever, really. Football is one of my favorites right now. Otherwise, I kinda help out wherever,” Sterling answered with a loose shrug.
Dakota made her way over to the empty seat that was right in front of Sterling and Willow. “Here, come sit, Ender,” she said, patting the empty space beside her.
Ender headed over and plopped down next to her. He turned to Robyn. "What kind of animals do you guys have around here?"

“So many different kinds! Would you rather hear about mammals, reptiles, birds, or amphibians?” Robyn asked, grinning at the chance to actually use some of her random knowledge.

"Uh…all of them!" Ender shrugged. "I don't have anything else to do."

“Well! We have frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, swans, ducks, geese, pheasants, quail…” Robyn listed off so many kinds of animals that Dakota’s head was spinning by the time she finished. Gosh, that girl could talk about animals all day…
Ender smiled politely. "That's awesome." He turned back around in his seat as Robyn continued to babble on to her brother, who obviously wasn't paying attention.
"Wow…" Ender sighed to Dakota.

Dakota chuckled lightly. “Yeah… I probably should have warned you about her, huh?”
"No trouble," Ender reassured. "My brother is the exact same way when you mention any type of art."

"Oh, really? What about you? What gets you talking nonstop?" Dakota asked, tilting her head curiously.
"I annoy a lot of people because I talk about my friends a lot and how talented they are," He noted. "So there's one. Also books, films, and just anything that has a plot. I'm all over it."

Dakota hummed with a slow nod. "So… If I asked you about the Avengers movies, would that do it?"
"Which one?" Ender asked. "If you're talking about Age of Ultron, that thing had such a bad storyline, I had to get up and leave the theatre I was so done. The first one is the best in my opinion. Infinity War just made me cry, and not because it was sad. Oh! What do you think about the 4th one that's gonna come out?"

Dakota chuckled. That question had certainly worked! "Well, Infinity War was devastating, first of all. Secondly, I don't know if I'm more excited to see it or terrified of what it might hold."
"I can't agree more. If they don't kill off Tony Stark I will be appeased after the train wreck that was Infinity War." He paused for a breath. "Who's your favorite character, if you can pick one?"

"Hm… I'd have to say either Hawkeye or the Scarlet Witch," Dakota hummed thoughtfully. "What about you? From your earlier comment, I'm guessing Stark?"
"No, actually, I just think he's the most interesting character and deserves better. My fave is actually the Black Panther."

“Oh, okay. Yeah, T’Challa is cool, too. He’s pretty funny,” Dakota mused. “Which movie was your favorite?”
"Either Ragnarok or Black Panther," Ender stated. "How about you?"

“Oh, Ragnarok was hilarious,” Dakota chuckled. “Um… Do shows count? Because I’d like to say Agents of SHIELD.”

"Oh yeah," He cleared his throat. "Can you excuse me for a second? I need to call someone."
