"Thank you," Ender smiled gratefully, before standing and heading to the back of the bus. He dialed and waited as the other end buzzed.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN I HAVE BEEN WORRIED SICK ALEXANDER!"
"Hi, mom," Ender grimaced. "Sorry, I got distracted. I'm like, really sorry. I'm on the bus right now and I'll meet you at the house after orientation. Take my bags?"
She sighed. "Fine. Just don't do it again."
She hung up. Ender sighed and made his way back to Dakota.
"Sorry about that." He chuckled.

Dakota chuckled and poked him in the arm. "A goose? I am a swan, thank you very much."
