she cuddled up to his chest.
He held her even in his sleep.

He was silent as he slept, only his breaths making the barest little noise.

The next morning she was awake but didnt want to get up so kept her eyes shut.

Emerson was awake, eyes open, and rubbing her back lightly.

"Mhh" Lilli hummed in satisfaction
He looked down at her with a small smile.
"Morning" she mumbled.
He smiled. "Morning." He said softly, kissing her cheek.
she smiled gently.
He smiled back.
she layed her head on his chest.
He held her close, kissing the top of her head lightly.
She let out a shaky breath.
He looked down at her.
"I'm okay" she whispered.
He nodded. "Okay."
she nodded and placed her head back on his chest her hair spread out over his chest.
He held her close, rubbing her back gently.
she sighed
He kissed her cheek.
She looked up at him with a smile.
He smiled back.
In the middle of the night she slowly sat up.
