"Never." he growled. His teeth closed on the Saber's throat, tearing out the trachea. The Saber was dead, like the rest soon would be, as the pack leapt into action against the attackers.
Lill's scream could be heard as she was face to face with a vampire.
Emerson heard her, and raced to where she was, bowling the vampire over.
Emerson bit the vampire hard, feeling the sour, foul blood staining his muzzle.
Emerson got off of the dead body, his mouth already stained with blood. He looked at Lilli. "Stay woth me." He said. "They're targeting you. I don't know why."
"They want the territory and They can't have it so they want the next best thing… your mate" she said.
He growled softly, padding over to her side. In wolf form he was shorted than her, but even more intimidating. "Well. They can't have you either."
He looked up at her. If wolves could have raised their eyebrows, he would have been.
"It's fine. It just felt strange." He replied.
Emerson sniffed the air, padding in a circle around her.
Emerson growled, pouncing and knocking the vampire over.
"No." He growled, tearing out the vampires throat again and spitting at the taste of the blood. Blood now streaked his muzzle and paws, the white spots stained crimson.
Emerson padded over to her. "No." He replied, gently nudging her to the ground and standing over her.
"I am keeping you safe." he replied, looking down at her and wagging his tail slightly, much like a dog would.
He nodded. "Yes, and I'm on top of you. They literally have to go through me!" he gave her a smile. Which admittedly looked rather scary, considering the fact that he was a wolf, and literally had bloodstains on his mouth right now.
"What?" he asked, looking at her. "Did I do something wrong?"
He took a step back, ducking his head. "Oh…I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."
