Miles turned his attention back to his table when someone tapped on his shoulder.
"Hey, have you heard about the Great Prophecy?" the girl who was sitting next to him asked.
"Uhh… no?" Miles answered, having no idea what this 'Great Prophecy' was.
"Oh, right. You're new." the girl said with distaste. "Well, it's this big prophecy that's going to happen. A bunch of demigods get to go on a quest. It was given to a daughter of Zeus, and there's loads of different people who get to go."
"Like who?" Miles asked.
"Well, there's a friend of a foe, which we assume is a kid of one of the Big Three… you know who the Big Three are, right?" Miles shook his head. The girl rolled her eyes and continued. "Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. As well as that, there's a hunter of eternity, which is obviously a Hunter of Artemis. There's a child born of true love, which we think is either a kid of Aphrodite or just some random kid who's parents really loved each other. Then there's a bunch more, which we think are kids of Apollo, Hecate, Hades, etc., etc.,"
Miles felt even more confused than before. Mostly because pretty much everyone he's met so far have been kids of the people she listed. Except for Aphrodite, he hasn't met a kid of her. His heart went heavy, thinking that all his friends were going to go on an adventure while he was stuck at camp with Miss Grumpy-pants.
Percy Jackson RP [CLOSED FOR JOINING]
(well that was long. Sorry 'bout that XD)
(Sorry I haven't been on!) Sienne was seated at the Hades table after giving her sacrifice to the gods. She was eating her waffles when she suddenly remembered the prophecy. Sienne shook her head, not wanting to think about it, she shouldn't worry about those things. She didn't see Lewis, so she assumed he had skipped breakfast. She hoped he was ok.
Ari made eye contact with Miles. She pointed to the woods, hoping that he would understand that she meant for him to meet her in the woods after breakfast.

(also, another question XD, are we keeping this all OCs or are we having Percy and Annabeth and stuff in it as well?)
(I’m thinking he prophecy is about the OC’s but Percy and Annabeth are around camp. Maybe they train our characters or something)
(cool!)
Perth sat on her bed, heard some shuffling outside and decided to ignore it. Why wasn't anyone paying attention? It was a prophecy. The Great Prophecy. She ran down a mental list of the people in the prophecy… The "friend of a foe"… well, how many foes did she have? Percy Jackson was likely at the top of the list for dumping her. And then getting her wet. So… Annabeth?
(I think the original characters are around because @wake-read-eat-sleep said this.)
(ok. i agree with @Charlie K.)
(sorry I'm meow45 just forgot my password and username the wrong email so ya. Can I still play though?)

Lewis climbed out of bed carefully, testing his foot. It ached, but he was pretty sure he was alright now. He arrived as breakfast was wrapping up, and managed to snag a pastry and some juice. He broke off part of the bread and tossed it into the flame, muttering a quick prayer to Apollo for healing and to Hecate for protection.
After this, Lewis joined Miles at the Hermes table.
Ari sat quietly eating her food at the empty Poseidon table.
"Oh, hey." Miles said, a little dejectedly once Lewis had sat down.

"You alright?" Lewis asked Miles.
He suddenly looked ahead, blinking a lot, and remembered how one of the Ares kids had smashed his glasses, which were probably still left on the forest floor. Anything more than a few arm's lengths away had a fuzziness to it, leading him to wonder how he hadn't noticed sooner. Perhaps the pain and panic had acted as a distraction.
Siren woke up with ringing in her ears. She looked down at her feet and saw blood. She was very scared and screamed a loud scream of pain. She looked at her hands and body and saw blood everywhere. She screamed even more and ran to the Apollo girl to ask what has happened to her. But when the Apollo girl was asked no answer came but another loud scream and everyone looked at me. I ran away and didn't want to go back to the place again, I wanted to go home.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Miles replied "Just a little lost… wait, where are your glasses?"
Viva got up from breakfast after Chiron finished speaking to them about how "activities would continue as normal," despite the "rather unusual" events of the night before.
She went over to where Miles and Lewis were talking.
"Hey!" she said. "Lewis are you alright? I feel really bad that you took all the blame…"
"Hey, Viva." Miles said when Viva came over, trying to keep a happy face.
"Are you ok?" Viva asked Miles, seeing through his facade almost immediately. "You know you can ask me any of your questions right? I'm meant to be your guide… Though that didn't go too well. Sorry…" Viva trailed off.
"Yeah, I'm fine. And it's alright." Miles said. He realized that if these guys are actually going on the quest, he might as well trust them. "Actually, I'm not okay. The prophecy's freaking me out."
Viva felt sympathetic. She remembered feeling the same way when she witnessed Rachel Dare speak a prophecy for the first time. It had been scary, and that had been just a regular prophecy!
"Yeah. I guess try not to worry about it?" Viva winced at her feeble attempts to comfort Miles.
"I'm not- I don't know how to explain it. It's just that every person who's mentioned in the prophecy could be you guys. Except 'a child born of true love', I have no idea who that could be." Miles said. He sighed, then looked at Viva. "I'm worried that you guys are in the prophecy."
Viva's smile faltered. "Yeah.." she said, "I'm worried about that too… I don't know what I'd do if you or Ari or Lewis or Siren or Sienne or someone went on that quest…"
Viva again realised how much she was failing at comforting Miles. "Sorry…" she mumbled. But the life of a demigod was no walk in the park, and it was probably better not to sugarcoat it for Miles.
"Hey, I'm new. I don't think I'm going anywhere anytime soon. I haven't even been claimed yet." Miles reassured. At least that lift one weight off of their shoulders.
"Yeah, I know." Viva tried to explain, "it's just…" But there seemed to be no words that could adequately explain her thoughts so she simply said nothing.
"Anways… enough dwelling!" Viva tried to change the subject. "Anywhere you want to see? Anything you want to do? I'm your guide, at your service!" Viva bowed, and grinned.
Miles laughed at her over-the-top bow. He thought about it. "Well, what's there to see?"
"Well, there's the forge, the armoury, the sword-fighting arena, the archery range, the canoe lake, the climbing wall, the arts and crafts centre and the pegasus stable." Viva listed.
"And there's stuff in the woods too but we might leave that until you've had a bit of training." she laughed.
Miles raised his eyebrows. That was a lot. There was one of those things that stood out to him the most. "Pegasus?" he asked.
