"Nice to meet you, Paula," Shae held out a hand.

"Likewise." She shook Shae's hand. "Tell me more about this place."

"Well, this is Camp Half-Blood," Shae started to explain, "Do you know Greek myths?"

"Yes, I know that my mother is supposed to be a goddess, and that's about it." She admired the beautiful landscape and smiled curiously at the water nymphs.

"Well, Camp Half-Blood is a safe refuge for demigods from monsters. There are also games, combat training, et cetra," Shae explained, "Oh, there are also different creatures here, satyrs, nymphs, centaurs, and lots of others."

( Can I ugh have someone bump into my character or something??)

"Wait, so what are we training for?" Paula pointed towards the lava-climbing wall.

"To survive in the mortal world," He said.

"Oh," Paula looked towards the other voice. "So it's that dangerous."

"Yes, now that you're an official demi-god," He looked at the climbing wall, and back at Paula,"Race?"

She shook her head. "I don't think so," Paula gulped.

"Aww, okay then,"He looked at him, and held out his hand,"Leon, son of Poseidon, nice to meet you,"He smiled and tried to look and act nice since Paula was a new kid.

"Paula," She smiled and shook his hand. "Daughter of….I don't really know."
Are people always this formal? She thought.

"Yet,"He put his hands into his jeans' pockets.

"Oh, yeah, I'm the daughter of Hades," Shae added.

"How do you find out?" She asked, realising she had lost sight of Ivan, the satyr.

"Lucky," He said to Shae, kinda sounding like a baby.

"You get claimed. From what I've heard, your parent's symbol appears over your head."

"Daughter of Hades?" She asked curiously. "But you're so nice."

"What else did you think was gonna happen? Was a mortal gonna appear over your head?"He said in a sarcastic voice.

"Um," She was taken back by his tone. "I don't know, that's why I asked," Paula replied.

Shae shrugged, "Hades is actually pretty chill once you get to know him."

Shae raised an eyebrow, "And Leon, for all I know, that could happen," she smirked.

"Yeah, if a Hecate kid tries to prank you,"He sarcastically rolled his eyes, and smirked.

"Anyways," Paula looked for an office or something."Who's in charge?"

"Nope! For all I know, we could be in Iowa right now," Shae crossed her arms.
