Personality: Prefers to detach herself from other people and avoids fighting whenever possible. Very cautious, shows little emotion. However, they can show passionate bursts of feeling when provoked every once in a while, ambitious but doesn't show it. So… basically Burr's personality. Loves to dance when no one's looking.
Talent: She can breathe and move normally underwater, as well as "read" people well. Like their emotions, and what they're thinking. (not mind reading or a mermaid though, just has an amulet and really good intuition)
Backstory: She used to be a slave in the harem of one of the most famous pirates - let's just call him Frey for now. She was in love with his son, Tua. One day, Pele stole the amulet - the Ruby Eye - from Frey to give to Tua because she wanted to see what it was like underwater. They swam together and had fun for the entire afternoon, when at midnight, Tua finally leaned over and whispered "I love you," into Pele's ear after all these months of waiting for Tua to return her feelings. But when they snuck into Frey's chambers to return the amulet, he caught them. Tua said that he took it because he thought that Sam wouldn't kill him. Since you know, he's his son.
Frey slit his throat on the front deck in front of the entire crew.
Out of grief, Pele challenged Frey to a duel. She won, and stole the Ruby Eye from him and swam away. But since she won it without killing him, she's cursed to die soon unless she gives her heart to someone and expects nothing back. However, Pele swore to never love again after Tua, so she will die soon unless she DOES love someone.
Other: She also has extremely low stamina underwater or near someone who loves her but doesn't get their feelings reciprocated, because the amulet drains her energy really quickly.
