Rikard was sitting at the canoe lake, brooding.
He would never tell anyone this (he didn't want to be the homesick loser) but he missed his family. These demigods, these "do-good" heroes, they weren't like him at all. Everyone assured him they would be his "family" but they weren't. Idiots. he thought.

Jayden nearly fell and stabbed himself in the eye.
Freyja wandered around before heading to the beach, seeing someone dramatically stare at the ocean. “So exactly how long have you been dramatically staring at the ocean for?” She asked Rikard.

"If you're staring at the ocean with such a sad look on your face for half an hour, I think you're staring dramatically," she said as she sat down. "What, you haven't got anything better to do?"

Rikard couldn't believe he was confiding in this random girl, but hey, over the past few months he'd done ALOT of unbelievable stuff. "I guess, I just don't feel worthy to be here you know?" he told her. "Everyone's all like WAM! POW! SAVE THE WORLD! but that isn't really me…" he sighed.
"Hell, you've got some deep stuff to carry around. It's not like we're all here saving the world - I know like three people who have been on quests. One of them went on a quest to save my mom's hairbrush or whatever."
Jayden quickly stood up, and acted like he totally meant to fall down.
