Beni sat on the steps of the Nike cabin. She was supposed to go to the fighting thing earlier, since her counselor told her it was good to make new "friends." Beni refuted the idea, saying that her two best friends were already enough. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. She looked up to find insert (one of your character's names here) walking towards her. She bristled, ready for another "conversation." Sure, this kid didn't look familiar, but she was known as the camp's punching bag.
(I'm afraid I'm making my character a bit of a Mary Sue. am I?)

Joshua walked back to his cabin and walked inside. It had changed since he left, and now the lounge inside looked like a large basketball court. Ugh…Mae must be here. She should practice somewhere else…I want a place to sit…
Tessa walked up to a girl who she was guessing was Beni. She honestly wasn't sure why.But she felt like she needed to say hi. She she did. "Umm……hi. My name's Tessa. You're Beni, right?"
Beni's head snapped up to meet who she guessed was Tessa, a girl from the Aphrodite cabin? "Yeah. You're Tessa, right? One of Aphrodite's kids?"
"Yeah. My siblings can be a pain though."
"Oh yeah, I know the feeling." Beni's siblings weren't the best but certainly not the worst. They weren't close, at all, but Beni still longed to have that close sibling bond with someone.

Beni held out her hand, grabbing Tessa's wrist. "Nonono, you can stay! Please sit!" Beni moved over on the stairs, leaving room for Tessa.

Chara had just finished sword training and decided to run laps around the camp. Even if she wasn't very good with a sword or a bow, or any sort of weapon, for that matter, the least she could do was stay in good enough shape that she might be able to protect herself in battle.
