(is anyone on?)
Plane Crash RP!
(Yeah)
(yep :3)
(I'm back!)
(i'm back too :3)
(Who wants to start today? I feel like Skye is doing everything now…)
(I guess I can. although @pandagal72 hasn't had a chance to say anything so she can start if she wants)
(Hello sorry I came up with a character, but then I lost WiFi for about a day and a half so I couldn’t write anything)
Fin woke up to the soft sound of people talking. He yawned as he rubbed his face. “Ow, what the heck?” Fin mumbled to himself as he realized his cheek was wet. “Am I bleeding?” Finally, Fin noticed the wreckage around him.
(sorry i would have started, but i had to go to school)
Jordan, not injured enough that she couldn't move, stood up. She felt a rush in the head and almost fell back down again, but stumbled upon the backpack that she had brought aboard the plane. Rummaging through it, Jordan grabbed her cell phone and tried calling for help. No service. Of course. She yelled in frustration.
A yell ripped through the air. Dara whirled around towards the source of the nose. It was a dark-haired girl holding her phone in the air. "You good?" She called in what she hoped was a friendly voice.
Fin stumbled into what used to be the aisle and stepped through a gaping hole in the plane. He began following the voices he heard before. Although his legs hurt, and his limp certainly didn’t help, Fin was determined to not be left alone.
Jordan turned to the woman who asked if she was okay. "No. How do we plan to get help if there is no Wi-Fi here? Speaking of here, where are we?" Jordan tossed her phone back into her backpack, which she pulled onto her back. She had some Nature Valley granola bars and beef jerky if they got hungry, so it was useful.
Dara peered out across the expanse. There was the ocean, sand, and a forest behind them. She shuddered. "It looks like an island. And I meant, are you hurt?"
(I've gotta disappear for a few days. Feel free to drag my character along.)
"My head is swimming a bit and I'm a bit bruised up, but other than that, I'm fine," Jordan replied, taking in the view of her surroundings. What freaked her out was that nobody knew what could be in the nearby woods. There could be tigers, or lions, or bears (oh my!). There might not be fresh water. There might not be anyone rescuing the many people stranded on this island. "Is there anyone severely hurt? I have a first aid kit in my backpack."
Limping over the sand, Fin spotted two figures near the shoreline. He started to make his way over to them.
Dara thought about asking for pain meds, but changed her mind. There was no telling how long they might have to be here. Eating up valuable resources for a maybe broken rib was selfish at best. "I think we're all okay. So far, anyway. There might be more survivors."
As he was walking, Fin looked down at his suit. It was pretty torn up, and there was blood on his tie. Fin sighed, “Gosh diddly darn it, this was one of my favorite suits.”
Dara noticed Fin out of the corner of her eye. Turning, she waved at him. "Hey! You okay? There's blood all over you."
Fin rubbed his neck. “Yeah… I should probably patch that up. Hey do you have any idea what happened., or where we are? Pretty sure I fell asleep during the flight.”
Dara approached him, inspecting him to find the source of the bleeding. It seemed to stem from his chest area. "That looks bad," she remarked. Then she replied, "Our plane suddenly started losing altitude. It was…terrifying. We crashed here."
“Okay, we-“ Before he could finish his sentence, Fin misstepped and his odd leg caused him to fall. “Ah jeez! My chest didn’t hurt at first, but now it’s starting to sting a bit.” He inhaled sharply through his teeth.
Santiago didn't know what to do, and began panicking inwardly.
Jordan stepped over to Fin, taking the first aid kit out of her bag. "Here, I have some guaze rolls (i think that's what they are called idk) to help stop the bleeding. You need it."
Fin slowly got to his feet. “Thanks, I can handle it from here. I think it’s only a shallow wound.” Fin accepted the gauze from Jordan and began using it. “Hey, I’m Fin. Nice to meet you, despite the circumstances.”
"Dara," Dara said, her eyes still on his wound. "I'm a pre med student. I might be able to at least disinfect it."
Fin managed a smile. “Really? That’d be great.” He turned his head to look at the plane, then remembered that there were plenty of suitcases with clean clothes and hopefully snacks. “Guys, maybe we should go back the our airplane and salvage what we can.”
"Yeah, that seems like a good plan," Dara agreed, already heading that way.
Jordan followed Dara. Trying not to look at the bodies of some unfortunate people, she looked under the seats for suitcases. Technically it wasn't stealing if the owner was no longer around to use it, right?
