He ruffled Ellis hair."That's true, you're gonna be eating everything." Zander went out into the hall, and led them down a twisting maze of corridors, and though he would never admit it, only got lost 3 times before they arrived at the flat. "Alright, do you guys just want food, or something specific?"
"Ahh, uhh.." Ellis thought for a moment, before exclaiming quite passionately, "Cheeseburgers!!"
Zander held back from laughing out loud.This kid is a miniature Ace."Okay how about you Mackenzie?"
Mackenzie thought for a second. "Casa–Qwasa—Tacos wif cheese in it." She said, not knowing how to say quesadilla.
Ellis tapped his fingers rythmically on the table.
"Got it." Zander said, putting Mackenzie on a chair so that way he could prepare to cook," One cheeseburger and one cheesy taco coming right up."
"Did you know that cows have best friends?" Ellis chirped, freckled cheeks lifted in a smile.
Mackenzie let herself drift into Lala land, singing another non-sense song about how awesome puppies are.
Zander exaggeratedly rose an eyebrow."They do, huh?" he asked in a playful tone, while cooking the meet and pulling out the tortillas."How do you figure?"
"They get sad when separated," he explained with a big proud grin.
"That's pretty cool, I didn't know that." Zander said, surprised at Ellis knowledge of cows. Zander was just about done with the food. He only had to put together the burger now and was letting the cheesy taco cool for Mackenzie. "Say, you do know where hamburgers come from right?" Zander asked warily as he prepared to serve the food.
(Alright I got to go for right now,and I'll be on and off till after 4 so… @Lil-Owl and @Natasha you have control of Zander.)
"Yeah," Ellis chirped back, taking the sandwhich when Zander set it down before Ellis.
