Blake nodded and fumbled his way out of Ace's hospital room and into the hallway, trying to flag down a doctor to interrogate.

Macha’s eyes focused suddenly and she was yanked out of her stupor by Dani’s voice. “Huh? Oh, yeah sorry. Um, lots of stuffed animals, one of those big sets of crayons, kid colouring books, and picture books.”

"Oh yeah! Mackenzie and ellis were coloring a lot earlier.. then they started running around." Sky said, turning around. "I got what I need. How about you?"

"Good idea." Dani started getting the things Macha had suggested.

Dani laughed. She finished grabbing her stuff. "Kay I'm good."

"Hey!" Blake saw a professional looking man in a lab coat and practically chase him down the hallway.

Ellis began to climb the thing of shelves in the living space. Being as light as he was, he got to the top without tipping it, and sat perched on the very top.

A nurse came up to Blake, "Hello, wing-man sir?" the nurse was young, probably 15, "Is that what I should call you, wing-man sir? Sir-man wing? Man-wing sir? Sorry!"

"I'm Blake." He said gruffly, annoyed that the Doctor had escaped his sight.

"Blake! Hello!" the nurse grinned, "I have news about your friend, purple-eye dead boy!"

"Not dead." Blake growled, narrowing his eyes. His wings twitched on his back, but he forced them to stay folded.

Skylar checked out, stuffing her things in a birthday bag she happened to find, too. "That should be good.." She said, rechecking to make sure she had the right things.

I got to go soon, im having dinner with my grandparents )

"Oof.. What is wrong with that nurse…? She seems up to something… :()

"Right. So, your friend's gonna be like, fine, but the doctors had to like, call off the surgery, because, oh man! Your friends insides are like, way off than normal! The doctors couldn't like, risk it, so they like, stopped and the surgery has to continue, but like, they don't know what to like, do." the nurse grinned.

"Take me to the doctors then." Blake ordered, anxiously running his hands through his hair. His fingers grazed the braid, but he left it alone.

The nurse frowned, "Aw man, I can't like, do that. Sorry man."

"That wasn't a question. My friend's life is on the line. You will take me to the doctors and you will take me now." Blake ordered, taking a threatening step towards the nurse. His wings spread out, a natural intimidation tactic. Although it never seemed to bother Ace.

"Sorry man." the nurse started to run, "See ya, like, later!"
