Dani raised her eyebrows. Then she burst out laughing again.
He closed his mouth, eyes flickering down. He responded with silence.
"Peter?" She asked again, her voice raising a bit louder.
"I-I don't know how to respond." His words were faint, flat.
Zander laughed with her, thinking back on it. " That was leading up to when I met you too, all scary-like and pointing sharp things at me."
"Peter, I'm all right." she pleaded, her eyes searching for something to grasp onto.
His arms came to cross themselves, eemaining silent and his eyes down.
"Hey in my defense you were holding Blake hostage. And…………………………………………………..wow it's really sad that most of what I do is because of bad experiences……………………………" She said.
"Fine. I'll just leave then." She said, getting up.

He lowered his head a little more, eyes sliding shut in dismay.
Skylar ran as fast as she could manage down the hallway, tears flooding her eyes. She burst into the apartment and couldn't contain her tears anymore. She slammed the door to her and Macha's room and broke down on her bed, sobbing.
Macha’s head snapped up. “Sky?! What happened?” She ran over to the bed.
Dani smiled. "It's my job, remember?"
Ellis watched Sky dart away, blinking in worried confusion. He walked back into the room, crawling back onto his brother's lap. "What happened?"
