Blake tensed up, looking alarmed. "Keep an eye on me? I don't need to be babysat." He growled, clenching his fists. He looked over at Dani and Macha for support.
"I'm not a babysitter, unless you want to pay me, I'm just going to make sure you don't hurt anyone." Ace looked at Blake, his smile gone. "Now if you're going to stop acting tough, I'll be able to get to know you, and I'm sure that once I get to know you, you're going to surprise me with your amazing personality." Ace threw his hands into the air, making a rainbow motion when he said amazing personality.

Peter led Skylar back inside, becoming quiet at the sound of the others' tense conversation. Tentatively, he peered into the room where they had gathered.
"Back off." Blake snarled. "God, anywhere I can get a drink around here?" He looked hopefully at the doorway, only to tense up at the sight of yet another new face.
"Look, Blake, I think I came off in the wrong way, I'm not angry, I just want to know if you're a person that I can trust." Ace looked towards Blake, his face displaying a concerned look, when he caught sight of a familiar face. "Peter!" Ace yelled, "You're back!" his face lit up with happiness.
Blake softened a bit at Ace's words, but still wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation. He stayed silent and instead looked towards Peter. If he threatens me, I'm out of here. Blake decided firmly.
"H-Hey!" Peter laughed back with a smile, hair still thoroughly roughed up from the wind outside. "What!s going on?"
When you said Blake softened, all I could think was, the cinnamon roll has gone into the oven and is starting to bloom into the cinnamon roll he is.

Ace pointed at Blake, "This is Blake, he wanted to kill me, but I won him over with my sexy glasses."
Blake sputtered slightly, his cheeks heating up. "You did not win me over!" He protested indignantly, but he held back a smirk.
"Or did I." Ace winked at Blake, who's cheeks were turning red.
"You did not." He stalked up to Ace, only to realize he was, in fact, three inches shorter.
"Hah. Well," Peter drew a breath, "It's hard not to be won over." He squinted, lips curling into an amused, teasing smile.
Ace patted Blake's blond hair. "You wouldn't be coming this close if you didn't think my glasses were sexy."
Blake huffed angrily, too flustered to come up with a snide remark in return. He took a few steps backwards, reluctant to back down.
Ace laughed, "Peter, I'm so glad you're back!" he put his arm around Blake's shoulders, "I'm sure Blake's glad too, you're definitely a worthy distraction from my sexy glasses."
Peter breathed a muffled chuckle.
Blake flinched away at first, half expecting to be put in a headlock or punched or something. He let Ace's arm rest, but was automatically tense, his wings raised a bit. "Who are you anyways?" He looked at Peter, tilting his head to the side a bit.
"That's Peter. Anyway, let's stop talking about me, though I'm very interesting, let's talk about how you were gone for a suspiciously long amount of time." Ace looked at Peter, "What were you doing with Skylar?"
Josh rounded the corner, "What's up with the party? OH! New person!" Joshua stepped into the room.
Peter cleared his throat to keep his face from flushing. "I was just flying around with her. I promise," He swore nervously, lifting up his palms.

"Uh-huh, and I'm the queen of England." Ace looked at Peter, a smirk on his face.

"S-Stop!" He insisted, yet his teeth were exposed in a sheepish grin. "I'm being honest, you can ask her yourself~!" He rubbed his arm nervously, adding in a hushed statement, "We haven't even kissed yet. I'm too nervous," he admitted with a note of guilt.
Ace looked around the crowded room,"Let's save that talk for another time. Hey guys, why don't we head into the living room, it's kind of getting crowded in here."
"Please," Peter agreed quietly, brushing back some of his hair.
Blake nodded, quietly wondering who Skylar was.
Josh nodded, sliding out of the room. The new guy and Ace seemed to be pretty close. He wondered how long they've known each other. And who was this girl Ace talked about? Skylar, was it? Shrugging, Josh put aside all of those thoughts for later. He found a corner spot on the couch and plopped down.
Ace sat next to Josh and smiled at him, remembering their conversation earlier, over bags of chips. "Hey Josh, that's Peter," Ace pointed at Peter,"And that's Blake, but you already know that."
