“Then that answers the question, doesn’t it?” He sat back in the chair and watched her
She sighed "I'm sorry"
“Don’t be, we are both in the fault.”
She nodded gently
"So how long do you have stay here for?" he asked, trying to get the subject away from faults
" I don't know ' she said with a sigh
"The doctors haven't said anything yet?" he glanced around slightly annoyed
She shook her head softly
He grunted in response and shit his eyes for a moment
" hey" she said and held out her hand to him
He hesitated before gently placing his hand in hers. “He’s better for you, you know that right? Jessie, I mean.”
Harley pulled her hand away and sighed " it doesn't matter I'm in love with you but obviously you don't want to be with me" she said
“I do. But I also think that there’s a better person for you to be with other than me and that you should consider them.”
"Just go I shouldve died in that wreck" she said
Chace shook his head "but you didn't. And getting hurt won't bring me any closer to you if you're thinking of trying again. We both need to get our lives together before we even start to think about being together, even more so if we want to raise Cerise."
" I thought you changed you told me you weren't going to leave me again but your just a liar" she said now crying
"I'm not a liar." he said calmly. "And I will never leave you. But this? This recklessness and danger you're putting yourself in? it's not safe for any of us Harley. Not you. not me. and defiantly not Cerise. I'll always be there when you need me. But for now I think it's best for all of us if we keep our distance. Just until we figure ourselves out."
"I didn't put my myself in danger purposely you know what forget it forget you leave me alone never talk to me again and get the hell out" she said turning over
Chance looked away and bit his lip. He stood, pressed a kiss to her head and headed to the door

She laid there crying sniffling and falling apart the one guy she actually loved was gone and he was never coming back

Chance stepped outside and slid to the floor, burying her head into his arms, hating himself for leaving but knowing it would be best for both of them if they spent time apart
She clsed her eyes the tears streaming down her face
After a few minutes, he pulled out his phone and called his brother. “You need to get over here. Now.”
"I'm With my girlfriend dude" Jesse said.
“Harley got into an accident. She’s in the hospital.” He explained, ignoring his brother’s comment
" you called me earlier Honestly dude she's in love with you" she said.
Chase sighed and rest his head back on the wall. “ I know.” He hung up the call walked back in, silently sitting in one of the chairs
Harley was still crying making tight fists.
Chace leaned back in the chair and watched silently.
