"Those darn shadows…… and Nightclaw……" (Or whatever I named him…) groaned Damian,

Briar nodded walking over to him.

Damian pushed himself to a sitting position, "I'll be alright, not that I have to like the fact that everything aches……."

Briar smiled gently "you''ll feel better soon"/

"Yeah… Still doesn't mean I have to like it" he said, smirking at her.

Briar leaned down kissing his cheek.

Damian blushed bright red, almost the right color to match the streaks in his hair.

she smiled as began to stand back up.

Damian caught her hand, "Hey… are.. are we …."

She looked down at him "hmm".

"Are we… more than just aquaintances?" he asked, suddenly very shy.

Briar blushed."um….well ….uh.

Damian smiled at her, "I like you… a lot…" he said quietly, happy to see he wasn't the only one flustered.

"I like you too" she said.

Damian blushed, letting go of her hand, his eyes trained on her.

Briar blushed as she fiddled with her fingers.

"So… what do we do about that?"

"I-I don''t know" she confessed.

"Well… " Damian got to his feet, "What do you want to do about it?"

Briar shrugged knowing if she tried to say something dhe would stutter.

"Well?" Damian asked again, facing her, and standing jus a bit too close.

Briar let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

Damian watched her carefully, searching for an answer.

"T-that depends on what you want".

"Which depends on what you want." he said, throwing the ball back to her, unsure of how to act in this situation.

Briar couldn't speak so she shrugged.

Damian sighed, totally clueless on what to do, looking up at the sky he wondered cluelessly.

"Well I care" said Damian, "I promise you I do"

Briar leaned forward to kiss his cheek.
