"Good" he said pulling away to look her over. He was still a bit confused as he took in her scent, but he shrugged it off. This was still the girl he loved.
she smiled gently.
Damian watched her carefully, "are you sure you're ok? E-even with what he did to you?…"
She nodded "i'm fine'.
Damian sighed hugging her again before pulling away. "We should get moving…. far away from here."
"yeah" she said benning to walk.
Damian shifted, "ride." He told her, padding up in front of her. "It'll be faster."
she sighed swinging her legs over him climbing on top of him.
Damian started off as soon as she was settled. Pushing himself to top speed, picking out a direction, heading directly for an area of badlands that was hard to navigate if you couldn't navigate the shadows.
she grabbed his fur as the wind blew against her skin,
Damian smiled when he felt her fingers in his fur, running faster at her touch.
she smiled as she used one hand to pet his fur the other one gripping it.
Damian growled lightly, enjoying the fingers in his fur.
Briar leaned forward ever so lightly.
Damian picked up his pace, flying theough the dark trees.
Briar continued to grip his fur tightly.
Damian kept on running for many hours, not a lope, just an all out run. Determined to get as far away as possible.
Briar looked aroind at the trees as Damia ran faster and Faster.
Damian suddenly lept through a ring of shadows. The scenery changed completely as he did so.
Briar looked arouund at her surroundings in awe.
Damian did it again, his pace slowing a little as he tired from the many hours of running. This time when he came through the ring he was running through misted, skeletal trees.
Briar looked around as her hand started petting his fur once again.
Damian tensed underneath her, but not because of her touch. Around him the bark and branches of the thick forest around him tore at his fur, scratching him as he forced himself to pick up the pace once more.
Briar got scrathed a bit herself but kept petting him.
Damian eventually slowed, huffing and out of breath as his pace slowed to a trot. His paws never stopped as he navigated the trees easily, heading for something.
she sighed as Damian trotted along.
"You ok?" asked Damian between panting breaths.
"yeah" she said with a small smile.
"Good" said Damian, never once stopping.
"are you alright" she questioned.
