Lotus walked into the room and looked around. She sighed as she set her stuff down. She sat down on the floor. Balancing her laptop on her knees she opened it up and loaded up the program for programming.

James knocked on her door softly, like he was unsure.

Lotus heard the door knock. She put her laptop down and opened the door, "Oh hi James."

"Oh, hi James," he repeated not making eye contact with her. He never made eye contact with anyone. "Can I talk to you?"

Lotus raised an eyebrow. She nodded and moved out of the way, "Sure come on in."

He walked in nervously playing his hands, he remained standing because he didn't know what else to do. "You are new here,"

Lotus nodded in agreement, "Yes. I am new. So?"

Kendra went to teh market and bought groceries, and a few extras of course. she took everything home and carried it all up in one trip. she hadnt bought much, just enough to get her through the week, plus what she already had at home.

"I do not like new," He was always honest and never knew he hurt people, "I need to know more about you or I will be stressed out by your presence,"

Lotus shrugged. She sat back on the floor, "Okay. What do you want to know?"

He still stood awkwardly in the middle of the room, "Where are you from?"

She put her groceries up and sat on the couch. unsure of what to do with herself. she didnt have any friends to text or call. no roommate to talk too. life sucked for all she was concerned

"I'm from a suburb in New York," Lotus responded.

"I like New York," He nodded, "I like the Chrysler Building. What do you like to do?" he picked at his fingers.

"I like to do things with computers," Lotus started listing them off, "Play video games, program, write, watch YouTube. Ya know that stuff. Oh I also like to sleep!"

He nodded, "I like to sleep too, I also like to write." He sat down on the floor but kept a distance from her, "Do you like Neurology?"

Lotus shrugged, "Never really had an interest. But it has always sounded really cool."

"One more question. Do you like to draw?"

Lotus smiled, "Yeah. My younger sister loved to draw. It grew onto me."

He nodded and stood up, "Thank you that is all I needed," He walked out with nothing more.
(Oh my gosh my little brother does this all the time, he'll come into my room and ask 50 random questions then leave like it never happened)
