"I am James," He repeated.

"Hey James! You're autistic eh? Interesting…"

Lotus looked at the notebook, "And why did you write our names down?"

His face turned red, he didn't know what to say. People just assumed he was weird but this guy knew.

"Oh well I was saving them in case I wanted to use them for characters." He explained. "And so I can remember them."

"Are you a writer?" James finally spoke.

"Ohhh," Lotus responded. She mentally slapped herself, autistic. That's why he was so weird. He couldn't help it. She made a mental note to do some research on it.

"Yep! And you're a engineer! Or, aspiring to be one. You're also interested in Neuroscience."

James was confused, he was a genius and he didn't understand how Owen knew.

Owen turned to Lotus and squinted. "Computer Science, right?"

Lotus frowned slightly, "Yeah… How'd ya know?"

"I live right next to you. Thin walls. I hear almost everything." He chuckled. "And I have a great memory, though sometimes it fails me. I'm also a psychologist in training and a writer! Maybe it's because my parents made me listen to so much Mozart as a kid….anyway, I can also tell by the way James was speaking and his mannerisms. For you, your poor eyesight and technically minded approach to everything just kinda gives it away." He paused. "Sorry am I rambling again? Sorry…."

"Wow," Lotus was slightly startled. She was still frowning, "But I literally just moved in today. I get it, just…"

Owen bit his lip again. "Sorry I get carried away."

"It is interesting, not frightening,"

"Thank you!" Owen beamed at him.

Lotus shrugged, "I guess it's cool."

"Attention deficit hyper disorder," He resisted. Owen knew about the part of the brain that was still foreign to James, he knew about people. Interesting.

Owen nodded. "Well I should probably get to work. I've got a lengthy essay to write. Alonsy!"

Lotus waved, "Bye. I suppose I could work on my game some more."

"Au revoir," James smiled.

Owen smiles and disappeared inside. He slammed the door. "Control yourself. You freaked them out. Well, you freaked her out."

James flinched at the slammed door and looked back at Lotus. "I like him,"

Lotus shrugged, "He's okay I guess. A bit creepy if anything. I'll get used to it. Just like I got used to my sister screaming Nani instead of just asking why."
