As night fell, and the children settled into their rooms, a knock on the door was heard.
"Dammit, I'm so late" Adel mumbled to herself, knocking on the door and making sure she secured her bag in her flame.
Beau adjusted the satchel on his shoulder as he walked into the ancient building, the faint stench of old paper and mildew hitting him. He gazed around the small room, his eyes settling on a few other kids, but he quickly looked around again. Everything seemed so old, but all the objects were perfectly set. Even the old man showing them around creeped him out a bit. Furrowing his brow faintly, he set down one of the halls, intent on finding his room by himself.
Vien, who had dozed off in the corner, startled awake by the knock. "What do you want?" he shouted loudly, scowling at the door. His limbs ached from falling asleep in such an odd position, and the small nap he had gotten only made the dark circles under his eyes worse

Adel opened the door gently, the flame lighting up the room, "Hello"

"Adel Fitzgerald sir." She replied, gazing around the grand lobby, her hair glistening in the fire.

"If you could please show me to my room that would be delightful" Adel replied

Beau continued to walk through the halls, constantly readjusting the satchel on his side as he studied the walls. He caught a few people staring at his white-blond hair, but ignored them. He didn't exactly love his hair color, but it had turned to that shade when he had first received his powers. There was nothing he could do. Even dyes on lasted for a few hours. As Beau continued down the heavily decorated corridors, he managed to find a few rooms.
"6034. 6034…" she chanted in her sleep.
