"Should we go?" Beau asked, turning towards Vien as he tugged a jacket on. He tilted his head towards the door as he stuffed his hands into his jacket, feeling a little insecure under Vien's icy gaze.
"Sure, I guess," Vien muttered, sitting up and stretching as he rose to his full height. He ran his hand through his mess of dark hair again, squinting at the sunlight that filtered in through the window. He walked over to it, throwing the curtains over it annoyedly

Beau nodded as he moved to open the door, feeling even smaller under Vien's height. Looking down at his hands, he waited for the boy to walk into the hallway before he would follow after.

Vien made sure that Beau was following before beginning to walk down the hall. He could smell something cooking from downstairs, and his stomach rumbled despite his not wanting it to. He didn't want to eat these people's food. For all he knew, it might be drugged, or poisioned
