Lillian laughed, "Yeah you are."

"I love you anyway," he opened the car door and slid himself behind the wheel… "I used to work on this thing every day after school and then race it illegally," he chuckled.

Lillian laughed as she watched him, "I never would have guessed you were such an adrenaline seeker."

“It was just fun. I stopped when I started dating you to impress you or something with behaving for once,”

"You didn't need to do that. If you liked it then you should have done it."

“It was illegal, probably better that I stopped,” he chuckled.

"Probably, then again you did get high in front of me," Lillian flashed him a mischievous grin.

"I'm just happy you're here now. I hate feeling like I've lost you,"

“I caught that,” he nodded slowly, trying to process, “Did you just convince her to let you go?”

"No, she made Cooper promise to look after me."

"Probably, then again you did get high in front of me," Lillian flashed him a mischievous grin.

“Oh,” Ryan nodded. “I don’t understand why she thinks she can just take you away. The world threatens us all the time but we aren’t dead yet,”

Ryan sighed and placed a kiss to her neck. “I guess I knew that,”

"I'm just scared. I don't want our kids to go through the same torture and stress that I do. I don't want this job put on them."

“I know you’re scared but we just have to…. get through this,”

"What did I do to deserve you?"

“You ask this all the time but I still don’t have an answer. You lionize me too much, more so than anyone else,”
