Darren just shook his head, “You ever been racing?”

“You ask this all the time but I still don’t have an answer. You lionize me too much, more so than anyone else,”

"Isn't that my job though?"

“Nope,” Lillian sighed, “It sounds fun though.”

“We should go, it’s fun as long as you don’t bet your car,”

“Really? Sounds great!”

“I just have to do some different stuff with this car then… like get nitrogen and a computer.

“A computer?” Lillian was lost, “Why do you need a computer?”

“So you know where to go. You don’t race on a race track. It’s street racing,”

“Ohhhh. That makes sense.”

“Do you want to go tonight?” He was almost excited, it was an addiction.

“Sure!” Lillian smiled with enthusiasm. Darren was fucking adorable when he was excited. Like a little puppy or something.

Definitely half puppy as always. “Awesome! It’ll be great,” he jumped out of the car.

Lillian laughed and leaned up to kiss his cheek, "I'm sure it will be."

Darren smiles and went to the back of the garage where he pulled out a bin containing 4 metal tanks with blue stripes down the sides.

Lillian watched him, "What are those for?"

“Make the car go broom broom faster when I tell it to,”

Lillian laughed, "Got it."

"D'accord," she murmured.

"I have good news for you though," he sighed as he felt what he'd wanted to for so long, the love he had for her could be felt, not masked by Belle.

"What good news?" she asked, looking up at him expectantly.

Cooper smiled, he felt an overwhelming love for someone who loved him back. It was such a relief.

She buried her face in his shirt. "I'm so happy you're not going to die," she whispered.

“I’m so happy to be with you,” he sighed and relaxed.

He took the bin and dragged it over to the car. He opened the back door of the car and opened a hatch in the floor that went all the way through so you could see the floor of the garage.
