Fleur nodded, getting out and shutting the door behind her. She didn't say anything when she led the way to the front door.

Cooper wasn’t nervous, he portrayed his typical confident attitude as the approached.

Fleur rang the doorbell and stepped back. In a few seconds, the door opened and a woman appeared in the doorway who looked like a grown-up version of Fleur.
"Fleur! Te voilà! J'étais trés inquiet!" She noticed Cooper. "Qui est-ce?"

Cooper smiled, looking back at her with an outstretched hand. "I'm Cooper,"

"Cooper?" she asked, looking from Fleur to him, then back to Fleur. "Qui est-il?" she hissed to Fleur.
"Maman! Il est un ami!" Fleur replied, blushing slightly.

Cooper sighed gently but otherwise said nothing.

"I mean you could say anything and I would probably agree right now," Lillian laughed.

Darren stopped and turned around with a raised eyebrow…. "Anything?"

Lillian paused for a second, "Yeah, anything."

He already had things pinned to the board about the Kanima. Pictures and reports along with notes of things he already knew.

"Right, where do we start?"

After a moment, Fleur's mother went back into the house but kept the door open. Fleur blushed and motioned for him to follow her inside.

“Well we know what it is already I’ve just been trying to figure out who it’s alpha is and what they want I guess,”

Lillian walked up next to him with a skip in her step, “Yep!”

Darren just shook his head and flopped down on the couch.

Lillian smiled and sat down next to him.

"Right, where do we start?"

“Well we know what it is already I’ve just been trying to figure out who it’s alpha is and what they want I guess,”

"Well does it just want to hurt you? Or does it want to take you back to it's master?"

“I Don’t know. It took a picture of us and that was weird to me. The fact that you can’t even see it makes me think that maybe it doesn’t want to hurt you at all. Like if you can’t see it you won’t worry. He doesn’t want to worry you?”

"Or he just doesn't want me to see it coming. If it just took the picture then whoever is controlling this thing knows you have a family and someone they can hurt to get to you."

“I don’t know I just don’t feel like it targets you at all. I could be wrong it just feels like he’s trying not to hurt you,”

"Well that could also be true. But that still doesn't explain why it's here."
