"To be honest, I'm surprised you don't remember Michael. The Pirates and their matching Sirens." She chuckled. "I miss that team, honestly, I do. The Sirens were great."

Lillian smiled, "Great!"

"Yeah sure… wonderful," he chuckled.

Lillian giggled a little, "Sorry, but your really warm and nice."

"Ooooh that Michael? Geez…" Cooper sighed and sat at the edge of the bed, "I hate to apologize but if you don't want me up here I can go downstairs." he shrugged, he wanted to talk about this but didn't want her uncomfortable.

(I like to imagine Michael is like Jughead Jones except not as hot because he's not played by Cole Sprouse.)
"No, it's fine. I don't mind." She cracked a small grin. "Besides, I have a feeling you want to talk."

"I mean… yes… but I'm moody so don't take the next things I say too personally I just need to get them out… okay?"

"If I were to sit by you and put my arm around you, maybe even pull you in… you'd probably get mad at me at this point, right?" His words were calm but maybe he was a little jealous.

"I'd be a little confused but no. Wait, are you jealous of Michael?" She bit her lip to hold back her smile.

"Jealous?" His cheeks turned pink, "No… I'm not… not jealous," he shook his head gruffly.

"Oh my god you are." She giggled slightly. "I never thought I'd get the chance to see you jealous again."

He sighed, "I am not jealous," yet he couldn't make eye contact with her.

"Oh yeah? Then look me in the eye with a straight face and tell me that."

He crawled up next to her and looked her in the eyes, leaving only inches of space between their noses. "I'm jealous of Michael because you let him have what I wanted and you can't hold that against me because I'm moody,"

"I wouldn't hold that against you, I can't. Michael and I have never fought like we have, never had a relationship like we did, never made my heart turn against him like you did. So yeah, I was a little more lenient on letting him have me close."

"When you did cheat on Ryan… what we had… that was real right?" he took a deep breath and let his eyes hit his hands again. "Not that you would've picked me over Ryan but just… the spark we had. You can't fake that…" He was almost visually nervous.

She thought for a minute, letting the question roll through her head. "That was real." Her voice was soft and quiet. "I couldn't have made up that spark if I tried."

"I just know," Lillian said with a wide eyed childish voice.

Cooper let out the breath the wished he didn't have to hold. "I'm sorry I complicated things for you, Angel… It wasn't my intention,"

He smiled and held her tighter in his arms, "You're never wrong,"

She smiled a little. "You know, every time I hear you call me angel it just takes me back to that day in the park. The one when you taught me to slow dance. I don't know why since according to the video you always called me doll but it just does."
