"Maria, Maria!" Darren sang again as he walked closer to Lillian.

"Callate!" Lillian reached out to try and push him, "Sshhh."

(Maria: Are you drunk or something?!)

Darren grabbed her hand, "Shhh!"

She returned to her Maria voice, "Si, ya vengo, Papa!"

"Maruca?" Darren quirked an eyebrow.

"His pet name for me," Lillian shrugged.

"I like him! He will like me!"

"No. He is like Bernardo: afraid," Lillian laughed remembering her ridiculous voice from early, "Imagine being afraid of you!"

"I see you," Lillian traced his cheek with her hand.
