Lillian smiled as she watched Darren pull in. She got into the car and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning." He smiled, "We going to Lloyd's right away?" He hoped she wouldn't notice the bruise that had formed on his face.

“Got it,” Lillian had seen the bruise on his face. She chose not to bring it up.

Darren drove to Lloyd's house and hesitated before getting out of the car, feeling light raindrops hit against his face. "It's raining," He turned to Lillian.

Lillian looked at Darren and grinned, "I guess we'll have to run then."

"Guess so!" He smiled back and made a bolt towards Lloyd's door.

Lillian bolted after hin. She let out a small squeal as the rain hit her skin.

They reached the door and entered the house, both laughing.

Lillian laughed, "Rain can't stop us."

Darren let out an evil laugh, "Nothing can stop us now!"

Lillian giggled, "Not even God can!"

"Do you think Lloyd got any sleep last night?" Darren said a little more seriously.

Lillian looked at him, "Optimistically yes, reality probably not."
